I found something weird on AWA, yesterday I activated Steam quest for Terraria but I haven't played it yet recently, today I found the quest completed. Does Awa count 1 hour of playing even if you played long time ago?

It's a "normal bug" for AWA. I sometimes get Steam points immediately after starting the quest.

I haven't really delved into the essence, but I see that you spend too much time on these giveaways from AWA, don't you? During this time, you can work hard and earn money to buy a lot more cool games. Or am I wrong?

Not really. Physically, you spend less than 10 minutes per day on AWA. Twitch quest? You start it, check that the AWA plug-in shows on the Twitch page and you can even pause the Twitch video if you want. And just leave it like that until your ARP are at maximum.

The only thing that would take some time is Steam ones - you need to play the game for an hour. But you can do that throughout the whole week. So, AWA takes less time than you'd spend on one cup of coffee.

I thought it was much worse, but more than once I watched how people here were nervous about difficult tasks. Hence I made my conclusions

They were mostly nervous because of AWA bugs when they didn't get their earned ARP points or, when the Vault opened, they didn't get the game they wanted.

I must apologize, I've been in the clouds lately because of so much on my mind, and I can't afford chit so it kind of just floats in one ear and out the other...but honestly not on purpose lol.

If its that good remind me in a few months when hopefully this is all behind me.
