I just grabbed Soul Hackers 2 (shin-mega title) while it was having a hellavu sale on Steam for the Ultimate Edition to see if the reviews were right about it...I'm not far enough in to argue much on the dungeons but so far I actually find the game entertaining, even though it does feel a bit generic, its also from a remake from 1997 and I think they did a damn good job on the graphics and gameplay from what I've seen so far.
I was hoping to get to my compendium for my DLC additions before my refund time was up and I didn't because I actually wanted to hear the story. I actually like the MC and honestly she usually acts more normal than the other people
It does seem like its going to be a bit repetitive especially when P5 Royal was my other option, but I actually wanted the old school shin-mega style and that at least is exactly what I got with a few difference (like all the games), I needed something to grab my interest after drowning in legal text for weeks and it at least scratched that itch...doubt I'll end up returning it since the next time i play i'm pretty much stuck with it and i didn't get far enough to be certain but I did get far enough to get absorbed and want to find out heh.
I do find it a bit easier than most smt games I've played, but they also have a free DLC difficulty to solve that and you could always avoid buying the other DLC which I can tell is going to make me OP for certain...but I wasn't feeling a grind so I'm glad I grabbed it.
I would say Persona fans would want P5 before this for almost the same price, but I own P5 on PS3 if I really wanted to play it...I got stuck on the grind in that before pretty much dropping my PS3 as a gaming system so I decided to try something new instead.
