Yeah hopefully they wont scam us in the long run.🤞
Well, I already redeemed about 10 games there. All good. Last was 'FRAMED'.
And I picked Barro, Barro F, Barro 2020, Call of the Mighty Warrior, Ninja Stealth +2+3 from the stream.
I was just about to ask , I had like 1 k points lying around so I redeemed that reward and was expecting a whisper , than I saw they incorporated a new system. So now you have to link your steam account ?
Sort of, gleam.io asks for a steam account. Hitsquadgodfather won't know anything about it.
Already used gleam.io. So I gave no new information.
Yeah but I don't think limited steam accounts will be allowed to participate.
I think the same. Because the reason to ask for Steam is so bots cannot participate.
Edit: the hulk is currently on the lose in the stream! :ROFLMAO:

You really need a sec. steam account for these type of "shenanigans" no way I am trusting them with my current account....
I wouldn't worry about it. It's the same system everyone uses: Steamgifts, steamdb, discord(I think), even here on IndieGala, when you connect your IG account to your Steam account. As long as you make sure to only ever use your actual Steam login and password on actual Steam page, you should be fine. It's not like any of these sites get permission to actually do anything on your account other than see that it exists and associate it with you.

EDIT Since your steam cookies go stale from time to time, occasionally a "Login with Steam" button will redirect you to Steam login page. Whenever that happens I prefer to go to steam myself and login there because of a common scam, where you get redirected to something that only looks like a real steam page, but will actually just steal your credentials instead.

Do they ask you for your account when redeeming origin keys or gog keys ?
No, they don't, Even when redeeming steam keys before they did not ask for steam account. Btw, They are not asking for steam account, you are redeeming through gleam by login through steam (y). This started today , before it was redeeming through gleam by login with twitch and that's mainly to combat bots but it wasn't as effective coz it's not hard to create multiple twitch accounts.

Edit: As FreaKill mentioned login through actual Steam page, coz of a common scam where you get a page that looks like a steam page login but it isn't and is used to steal you credentials and account.

And use the email-lock thingy! (y)
Btw I use the trick you mentioned with Paypal. I first open a Paypal-tab and login. Then I push the button on a site to pay with paypal.
