how is the noise level ?
back in the days we had this kind of mhz on high end unique core but after industry went to multicore architecture with lower mhz on each, but parrallel processing, multithreading was here, glad to see tech evolving...maybe you can shut down the heater and open your computer aquarium ๐Ÿคฃ
beware the energy bill (y)

I dont know chit about overclocking
Congrats Retro on the lovely PC. :)(y) Your CPU cannot overclock to protect its 3D layered Cache from cooking itself and dying. It's locked from factory but it should be plenty fast just be sure to install AMD's CPU drivers (LINK) and update windows for optimal performance (core parking drivers and xbox game bar).

However I noticed that your memory is only running at 4800MHz and you purchased a 6000MHz RAM. You just need to go to bios and enable the XMP - eXtreme Memory Profile. Helps a bit with some benchmarks and a lot with gaming performance.

Hope it helps and enjoy some awesome games with that thing. :)

If your board using "MSI Command Center", go under the settings beneath the CPU core clocks and look for a warning setting...open it click defaults, tick the Alert Sound checkbox, and click apply...it can be your best friend letting you know if your voltages go out of range ;)

EDIT:

Seems thats a new version of the Command Center App (or an AMD one), I dont know where to find the setting on that one...if they still have it

Then download the 3DMark demo from Steam if you don't own the program and run some of the free benchmarks ;)

Looks good from here though (y) although your 12v is close to the high end and maybe your 5v which is why I suggest setting the warnings....even with a perfectly configured rig I had a few go off when I really pushed my hardware. (nothing to be majorly concerned over--but you do wanna be aware of it)

zero noise
Did you forget the fans? :ROFLMAO:

EDIT:

My rig actually got louder, but thats too be expected when all the fans got unblocked and I swapped 3x 120mm ones for 3x 140mm ones...plus added a digital LCD on my cooler with built in memory (it'll actually hold my GIF during reboots lol)

What I can say though for a fact is my CPU contact became much cleaner after a good cleaning and fresh thermal paste, I can literally tell my CPU is loading up better along with the software, even though my boot process took a slight hit when I'm using a normal HDD and not an SSD.

All in all she's purring, but shes purring in a good way.

Honestly I was at my end of my wits that day...I wanted to throw it out a wndow and burn the building down instead

So...your a little off, my personality is probably worse
Also use this onone
Way too small for the cooler lol....even that one doesnt fit perfectly. It has a new Corsair Symbol with Lightning circling around as a custom GIF included I keep on when I reboot just because I dont want some giphy fluke to crash my entire system :ROFLMAO:

Fitting consider I named my PC Storm.

Nothing better than sitting at a gathering of friends and family and calling your PC by name and everybody knowing what your talking about...says you did something right.
