Nah, those are all classic Black Isle (Obsidian) and BioWare cRPGs.

Fallout is post apocalyptic, Bg is based on gods and demons, and obviously has a necromancer class lol....never played most of the others as I said. But I figured same shit different title

I was stubborn, and kept going. I just didn't enjoy it, so I stopped playing.

I was similarly disappointed with Fallout 2. They broke the turbo plasma rifle, and made it use more AP per shot. You could still use pistols, but wearing giant armor and carrying a tiny pistol felt wrong. I did finish the game though, and enjoyed it overall, except for the fact they ruined my favorite weapon. Also, there were children in the game, and they stole your stuff, and so you obviously killed them. Not like today where you can't kill children in games for some reason.

I'm a fanboy...
Black Isle/Obsidian is my fav developer. Which is not that weird since I'm a huge RPG fan.
Black Isle team separated into Troika and Obsidian - Troika gave us Arcanum, Temple of the Elemental Evil and VtM Bloodlines (of course!) and then Troika closed and the whole team united again in Obsidian until Chris Avellone left a few years ago...

Don't forget BG2. And after that - because I know you also didn't play them - Planescape Torment, Icewind Dale 1 and 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2, Fallout 1 and 2...

Centaurs and Deathclaws - but Deathclaws are a nightmare in every Fallout after FO2 (which had nice Deathclaws).

I had to look up what I used, so unforgettable it was, the YK rifle. Not a favorite. I used it because it did the most damage. There was also a YK pistol, but I mostly ended up using the rifle.

I had 3 favorite developers back in the day, which i called the 3 Bs:
Black Isle, Bioware and Blizzard

Black Isle closed (not talking about what came after)
Blizzard sucks nowadays
Bioware is a pale image of what it once was

Its a monthly subscription for like 12 bucks, for 8 games usually, technically free after that. (yes for steam--almost always) on rare occasions they sneak in an Origin game or something.

they may not be hitting us in video games, but we're getting raped for food and shelter instead.

I couldnt even shop like a poor man this month without spending way more than I normally did...the last few years its been rising, I used to spend half my budget for a month of mostly the same food and have extra to throw around when I wanted. Not anymore...forget rent. Literally, just forget it. I won't ever pay it again

I always invested in regular guns' perk so for 90% of the game I used sniper rifles and then Gauss. And then they changed Gauss in new Fallout's into an energy weapon.

I liked energy from the start, and the turbo plasma really was the jack of all trades. Low AP like pistols. Long range, not as good as sniper, but still good. Also high damage.

In Tactics, I made the same mistake. Specced into normal guns, since that's all you have at the start. When you got to the end, fighting robots, they were useless.

Genius idea....need some way to keep my coffee hot without a microwave (my coffee maker does single cups, not a pot)

No coffee is no option.



The really scary part...its fucking working, better than my coffee pots usually did

I'm afraid the cup is going to explode heh.

I have no heat and no way to cook...what do I do, ensure my coffee is drinkable...its all about priorities
