What was the legendary game you gave them? Maybe they thought it wasn't that valuable. Still, trading a current freebie for any paid game is kind of scummy.

Since Pax insisted on making this public, and everyone else refuses to let it die, I'll explain what happened.

Last year Pax missed a GA and asked if anyone had a spare key. I gave him mine, and he asked if I wanted anything from a list he had. So I chose one.

The next time I found something he didn't have, I asked if he wanted to do the same, and he was happy to do so. We did this several times over the course of almost a year.

Once before he agreed to the trade, but after giving me the key, found a GA and so I gave him something else later that he didn't have in addition to the original trade he agreed to. All friendly.

For some reason this time he didn't feel the trade to be equal, and so I offered an additional future game he didn't have, like last time. The game I asked for was not on his "legendary" rare and delisted list, but an IG challenge key, Dungeons. Currently $2 on Steam.

Then he posted here. Everyone blames this person he won't name, me, and the topic refuses to die.

If he didn't want to make the trade, he could have declined. Instead, he agrees to it, then expects more later. Take whichever side you like, or don't care. It won't happen again because trading is a waste of time. People always value their own stuff much more highly because it's theirs.

It is not necessary to substitute concepts and mislead the public that I allegedly publicized our situation. I didn't put any names there. It was a warning for the whole lair in the future that it was not a good thing to do that. If you see a free public giveaway, tell people about it, don't try to profit from it. You made it all public when you revealed yourself.
