Yeah, we just discussed that yesterday. It's all because of one game, and now every NSFW title is under review. I think we'll be fine, but we were on a roll in terms of visits and downloads before all of this started.
Yeah, rolling downhill to nowhere

We were getting alot of hits...but it obviously wasnt doing us much good either. Still, people playing is the important part and thats not going to be so easy since most traffic was actuallly from itch or the zone.

What I don't understand is why no one wants to make money without worrying about moral panic. I'd have no problem processing all the porn money and taking my cut.
And Itch would be Ok with that, Patreon, too, but when you have a public outcry... They don't want any lawsuit issues. It's bad for business, apparently.

How did Alienware still haven't found weird that no games is out of stock?
  1. All keys still safe and sound. Dont worry.,
  2. Something is 500ing on one of our servers, we dont know why yet but it is actively being troubleshot,
  3. As soon as I know more, I will update the post here. We have not determined yet if we're going to delay to a specific time yet. I will let you guys know within the next 15 min the plan (hopefully).,

For once we totally agree...but you also need somewhere to promote it and most are a big N O for alot of topics.

Its not players or the sellers...its whiny little church goers and goody goodies causing the issue.

The problen HERE was that someone tried to make that money knowing full well the game broke all the rules of multiple sites and fucked everyone. So they profited at the cost of screwing a ton of other devs over being greedy.

Visa and MC should be the ones worrying about lawsuits for obstruction of lawful business. What I'm wondering is, why aren't there any payment processors that just want to process payments, not enforce some kind of moral panic. You don't even have to touch the dirty money anymore. It's all digital.

Because the card companies insist the payment processors enforce it and nobody is inventing new ones...that takes actual effort

I simply dont know why anyone cares at all...people are going to play regardless...basically all they're doing is making it less expensive for people who do because people can't enforce payment for them most of the time if they choose too. So all the really dirty shit you actually NEED to find free. Pure brilliance. Yay for chuchies and protesters...what a victory.

Again, it's a woke activist group.

Yes, this is why I won't do it. That, and the money/investment required to set it up. There must be people from the other side that would be interested though. If Trump can make a ton of cash from shitcoins, then you know there's a market for it. It's just a matter of getting the right people together.

This isn't their first rodeo. Such game purges, because of the same reasons and from the same public source, were done several times in the past. In fact, I think it was in 2018 when they had a mental breakdown over NSFW games that almost destroyed Western adult games. The result was - half of the small developers with good games were forced out of business, and the big ones, which caused the whole ruckus, just changed the titles of their games...

Like you i'm too poor...i'd be all for laundering smut money for people if not...let'em sue, i'll send them home in tears by destroying their moral daydreams.

People play games to escape reality...all your doing is making them turn to reality. Hah...fuckers, your causing rapists and pedos...imagine that.

Yes, even before that people were panicking about something or other, music, TV, games, Dungeons and Dragon IRL.
The result was - half of the small developers with good games were forced out of business
This is one of the biggest problems, and the other is self censorship.

Nothings going to happen...and besides, i'm an entrepreneur and a nasty programmer...you don't need money to recoordinate your efforts...I'll build it right back up encrypted inside a game that can be advertised as SFW with a trick to unlock it :ROFLMAO:
