well as the developers in the video and you pointed out.
The problem has several layers
some games may be more suitable, cost effective, etc and others all other way around.
Law needs to be changed? Each country has diffent of those. etc.
Bottom line everybody agrees is a complex subject,
its isnt only about games/gaming above tha it has money involved.
Bet someone smarter than me may already have suggested.
It may become a temporary solution before the real one is defined and plases the community,
developers and those hearthless corporations.
Why not create somekind of stamp/seal etc the game producers may add to their products.
This stamp will have very clear guidelines (like gnu, etc) that will put your game in category that wont
be killed after ending of company's support.
Nobody will need to abide by it. Each company is free to use/put by themselves.
Will be a marketing thing
Let the community chooses if they want or dont buy a product/game that dont have the stamp or not.
It wont be necessary a fiscalization organ, but if the companies dont follow the guidelines they can be
presecuted.
