Is this you ? :ROFLMAO:
Thats nobody in reality, most hackers need a backdoor first...or its usually cracking or finding an exploitation lmao...and I'm still more on the coding end.

Although I have enough knowledge from the days when the internet was text to make things like that easier than using some program that has a virus in it while your running it on someone else...like all the little elite hacker kiddies with 32 usernames, a worthless VPN and think they're hot shit 🤣

Aircrack NG (IIRC) is a popular one, I had invented the basic concept for WPA2 encryption for an encrypted text editor I made long before it even on record as a standard by government's, maybe 8-10 yrs.

I still have the program and I'd still have trouble cracking it myself without it, copyrighted unofficially in 2000 lol.

Are there any movies that faithfully represent coding or hacking ?

Thats actually a tough one to answer, I've never thought much about it.

The ones where fools get chased and/or erased by technology by some higher ups could likely happen. keeping your phone on you while running, every electronic device being a possible camera or tracking device.

You should bow to people wearing a tinfoil hat these days in reality, there are three types of people, them, the ignorant, and the ones who know its there but just don't fukin care lol. that being me.

Gait Recognition (how you walk) from the netflix Punisher series lol.

Hacking, not any I have seen that were based on it enough to mimic it (snowden maybe, true story and he did it from inside--never saw the movie), anything you see about programming is usually close enough to real.

Its hard because everything is embellished and there really is no limit to what 'could' be done or could be real...except the mind looking at it.

Hell, the matrix could be spot on and we would never know it, which is the entire point of the movie

By someone who is ignorant lol. We pay for a tracking device every month, I'm using mine now. Phone, camera, location

Its all records, ever lose all your IDs? Now imagine you weren't even in the database.

Nuff said.

Like google is your friend on this matter lol. Microsoft and .gov sites are too. check there lol

It shut down because it can't answer legally.

I use steam launcher for my favorite gamepad and thats why I prefer to just buy on steam and pay the price, unless its something I can definitely use the launcher for like Ubi connect games etc.

That bites (prices), and I've seen an itch author get hit for that, selling on steam and giving it away on itch...he was forced to match the price.
I prefer games on steam because proton, which means I can play most of my games on linux, as that is the OS I prefer (no automatic updates! etc..).

The steam deck is going to seriously improve it too, i won't be going to Windows 11, its a nightmare. Time to relearn linux (hate how its DOS in reverse practically lol), I've used both before.

I just disable Microsofts updates entirely if I don't want them.

Fucking delete the service/exe a few times haha. There are much wiser ways to go about it, I'm not suggesting anyone does it lol.

Just stay away from the Kali variant unless you know what your doing security wise...even I'm wary of treading there....or do it on a dummy PC...or dummy house if possible hahaha.

Hacker Haven.

The Steam deck (not the hardware, the software) is going to save gaming...and they're doing it for a handheld console...thats as dumb as me using wifi encryption to make a text editor lol.

Windows is a sinking ship, ever since 8.
