Anyone played Maniac Mansion? I played when I was kid on Nes, it used to jump scare me when the mad doctor pop out lol
Now it is free with Prime gaming.
I always wanted they made a movie from it, it never happened:LOL: I checked on youtube and I found a short fan movie of it.

Maniac Mansion gameplay
Well technically my parents lost the NES, along with my comic/card collection (now that hurt, I had serious money in the cards) and it stopped my collecting.

I'll see if I can dig up an old video or even just the NDS sometime and post a short vid or gif of it.
It would be great to check it out!:)

Someone mind giving me a rundown?

I want to add "Innocence Or Money - V 0.0.3" using AddFreeLicense, search returned 1958390 and SubID 706422 (I already have the original game or had), how do I go about it? It says theres a problem adding it to my account.

EDIT; Came across ID 15247860 as well. still nothing.

There a tutorial page for this?

No, but i'll own it now. Unless you don't have prime and it gives me a key ;)

Only game that ever made me jump was the first RE, to this day when that zombie jumps through the first window I hop, even prepared lol.

You know its a good game (dame, keyboard is killing all my typing  ) then haha.

Wow, book, box and all. Did you collect them later on in life?

I downloaded the client (it does keep your games there)...I just did a system restore after uninstalling the app (haha)...I also have 6 drives in my PC so i did it on one I could wipe if I needed to.

You ca actually use Revo Uninstaller Pro Trial...set your BIOS clock to like 3 yrs ahead before installation and set the clock back after rebooting and using it at least once and it will be a trial for three years (i don't think you can go much further) or just buy it for like $20.

That thing will uninstall other trials that don't require server login, even programming languages ad microsoft products so you can use the trial again :ROFLMAO:

What are these "!addlicense asf" or "javascript:AddFreeLicense" codes?

ASF stands for "Archi Steam Farm", which is a program people can use for idling Steam games for their Steam cards. Many people use programs like this, but this one also allows users to activate games to their accounts, emphasis on the plural. For users with multiple Steam accounts for whatever reason, they can use the supplied "asf" code(s) in the comments of some posts to activate games to their accounts faster. More information can be found on the ASF wiki - https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm/wiki/Setting-up

The "javascript" one is for users who want to use their browser console to activate games on the Steam site. Useful for people using the mobile browser, or just not logged in to the client.

How to use

  • Navigate to any Steam store page in the browser, make sure you are logged in, and in the search bar, type (not copy) javascript:AddFreeLicense(..the number..) and go there/press enter. This works on both mobile and desktop browsers.
  • A message saying that "undefined has been added to your library" will appear

This is really only a thing for games that are being given away on the Steam platform itself, rather than every offer we'll see on FGF."

I never fully understood how this works (why) or exactly which number you need to type.. But when I see it I use it :p
Some games from steabdb can also be added at times by the instal button even they normaly shouldn't. Usually those are reported

Any idea why my attempt didn't work? I seem to have the right number, and I already knew about the program. More confused as to what number should activate it and where to find them if the steam DB install button number isn't the one.

Edit:

Guess not lol. Thanks for the link, i'll do some digging.

Maybe you are confusing the ASF with the one that activates through the browser? AddFreeLicense

For steamdb.. Ok stupid question but.. Are you logged in with steam?..

Nice box... in our country we only had pirated Taiwanese nes clones with plain yellow multi-game cartridges with weird stickers. I had one licensed one (Adventure Island II with a beautiful box art), but there was nowhere to even insert it, because the clones were designed for the Japanese cartridge form factor. And this was the reason why it sold at the flea market for next to nothing :)

Ya, stupid question. I've done it multiple times with codes given to me...and yes, I open the same page I use to activate keys from here.

I can't blame you for asking, people do some dumb shit and sometimes you just don't think :ROFLMAO:

EDIT:

Asf uses the same Number, which is all I'm trying to find. I don't use other peoples programs "generally", I would remake it with the concept or make a simple batch (if I was on PC) to imitate it before doing that.

I may have the right one and the first version could be blocking me, anyone wanna try a porn demo? lmao.

javascript:AddFreeLicense(1958390)

you'll have to add javascript: again if you paste it lol.

I am not collectionist but I love to keep all videogames I bought when I was kid :) That photo is not mine to be honest but I have old games with box and instructions. Cool 6 drivers hahah never seen a pc with so many drives. Nice trial trick

I was half an half on the box pic...and I never saw the box for the 101 game version i ended up with...dad hid that lol. But the repeat part is true, either that or just tiny time-wasters as generic as they get mixed with a few good games.

The hardest part was finding a good game lol.

PC is 2ft tall, 2ft wide and a foot long weighs almost 125lbs lol.

Dodge this.
This is mine. But such cartridges with an abnormal number of games were not sold separately, they came bundled with the clone itself. Everyone had one. there were actually about a dozen games there: tetris, lunar pool, galaxian, battle city, wild gunman, duck hunt... and if you were lucky, then instead of Tetris there was Super Mario. I wasn't. But the main interest there was the game selection menu, where they actually tried :)

I think I already saw that menu selection animation somewhere in another cartidge. The music from Ghost movie lol
Those menu selection makes me remember keygen crack music or amiga crack music, they were usually very nice music
I found some here: Essential Keygen Music : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

Stay away from keygens if you value your PC, usually an embedded virri is the price you pay for the free key.
