Those hogs are great! Totally agree with BurningPixels on those games.
Edit: Light visual novel (dating game) would be another choice.
It should definitely not be an action-based game.
I see on steam profile hogs and visual novels are very appreciated from girls too.
From time to time I like too to play those hog games, they are relaxing! I still can't get into visual novels, I get bored very quickly to read lot of text and if I do at night I fall asleep :ROFLMAO:

There is such a love/hate feeling with this kind of games when you're into it, and good enough to continue, but not good enough to roll on enough people to be satisfied.
Only because I lack the skillz. If I join a game Im instantly killed while Im trying to figure out which buttons on the controller open loot boxes for example. Makes it no fun for me. I didnt leave the womb with a controller like it seems most others who play shooters did. I know its a skill issue. But how am I supposed to get better when ppl just insta kill you every time you revive/respawn too? Its frustrating. I dont hate the games. I like to watch ppl playing. I just suck at them.

I still can't get into visual novels
Is this what I refer to as adventure type games? Like Tell Me Why where they have a story?

Is that a good bruuuuuh, or a bad bruuuuuh? lol
Bad. I dont remember a message. 😭 I'll open the game in a bit & check but pretty sure I didnt get the loot.

It is more like a novel book, you can interact with other characters replying with multiple choice text.
This is an example game Doki Doki Literature Club! on Steam
it is even free so you can try to have an idea.
I don't know how is this game, I know it is very popular, I tried similar games but I get bored after a while :ROFLMAO:

stray is like a horror game not your typical cat simulator :D

Yes, of course, this is not just a cat simulator. But not horror. However, there are many things about the game that non-players may enjoy. The game is beautiful. The game is easy to control, no game skills required. It tells a story. And yes, you have to play it as a cat.

Or if not, this dude from the picture can offer many dozens of hours of amazing intrigue and investigations, from which it is impossible to tear yourself away :)

I can also suggest to you - add the games of the Phoenix Wright series somewhere, at least far, far away, to your list of interests. it's not quite a classic visual novel, there's room for gameplay (a little HOG, a little point-and-click), but mostly you have to read, read and read, and it's a very interesting story in itself, there's also comedy, there's the drama, there are wonderful characters, but what is even better - with each next game, the events do not just change each other, but accumulate into such a crazy tangle of events that you want to read on and on, and not fight sleep from voluminous text.
Or there are always games from winged cloud, yep. Sakura Gamer FTW.
