Yep I agree with you for me being a freeloader (I haven't been contributing for ages in all honesty, only taking). I am officially the freeloader of Gamer's Lair

I am never against anyone for that matter but do play nice as well since gifters had to either work for their keys or pay for them. Asking for a few keys (less than 5) every week or so should be fine with everyone but asking for a whole bunch of keys will make it very hard for the giver.

If giver just gives you 4-5 keys at once and doesn't give others others more than 2 keys every time previously it will make it as if he is very unfair. And DMs might start rolling onto him that he needs to explain the situation to everyone. Always be mindful that BreakAway doesn't need to do this at all and might have much much better things on hand to do than manage keys let alone to have DMs for him that might call him out for unfairness.

Just imagine how many DMs our Queen Vinka is receiving on a daily basis it is scary as some people might go to that extreme. I'm not saying you doing DMs like this but your actions might cause such reactions from the others which isn't going to be good for anyone receiving the DMs.

Thank you for your offer but I do not really need games for now. I have been hoarding quite a backlog that I need to play so maybe for now I will only go add games that I will definitely want to play from now. Just try to keep the peace in here ;)

Apologies Jer7cho, I just wish to put out a point maybe not worded properly. 😅
Unfortunately, I use a translator and he couldn't translate such a large text so that I understood everything you told me. But the bottom line I have understood is that you are not in a bad mood towards me and it is mutual! 😃
I promise that I will no longer ask for a buffet as I did once and in the end I got only three keys :ROFLMAO:

i vouch for co2no too.
And as i said before, asking for too much isn't a good thing, i won't repeat what i said before as we already done talking and u said u wont ask for a buffet anymore. but we always know if someone is giving or just asking, on the open or not, and there will always be people to vouch for them if someone said they being a leech and they aren't.

I, myself hate being on the spotlight or being known that i'm giving something( as i believe what i give out of my will, nobody more than the one that will receive need to know).

all i can say is that if someone did something wrong or right here on our lair, there will be people who'll vouch for them in their stead or against it

Thanks for the tip, it looks interesting. Although I don't like games without a price, but I'll try it
Wait, what? It's free. I like free. I thought others might too.

Oh, unless you mean that free games aren't always good/fun games? Understandable. I think about it like this: Sometimes free games are garbage, sometimes they turn out to be gems. I treat it like when I go shopping where sometimes they give out free samples hoping you'll buy more or something else in their range. itch.io is a good example of this. They give a free game but you can also take a peek at their paid games while you're there. Win-win for all ;)

(I've personally gotten a lot of "free" games from friends in the Lair letting me know about them, or gifting them to me 😘 )

Anyone interested in Bad Rats or have it on their whishlist? I have a key
See what I mean about the rats? They're always up to something and they just keep coming back :ROFLMAO: (no thank you, by the way lol)
Information about yours favourite old twitch channel: :)
I'm actually interested now, since phone apps are generally smaller than pc apps. PLUS you can emulate a phone using Bluestacks. Thx for the heads up. Poor guy tho. What a hassle it sounds like it's been for him.

I'm so thankful BreakAway does tho. Both for the keys that were gifted to me and for keys he can distribute on my behalf. 😘

Im felling better. No fever but some cough. Thanks.
Being on the mend is great news! Welcome back!

I'm trying to get my head around the experience levels on IG and while there are quite a lot of FAQs I dont see one that shows a list like
level 0 = 0 to x points
level 1 = x to y points etc

Am I right in thinking that this Current points: 0 / 5000 means I need 5000 points to reach level 1? (that's a LOT of points!) ? AND that you can only get points by creating a giveaway using the offlcial IG page? And then I see that if you bought the key elsewhere you only get the points if you get good feedback. What if the person never gives you any feedback at all?

I mean I've been here for a year and have only just found the IG giveaway page where you can enter the giveaways. I never thought to click any of the other buttons in my library page. Now I see there is a section that tells you if you've won a giveaway, thx to all this reading about giveaways. So since I've never won a giveaway I dont know how it works for feedback. Does the winner get a link to follow to add feedback or is that something we then have to go figure out ourselves?

I tested setting up a giveaway but the feedback part makes me nervous. I paid for a Steam game key elsewhere. I dont see anywhere to tell IG that I cant guarantee the key will work, though I'd hope it does. Is this an automatic setting when you create a non IG purchased key then? Yeah, the FAQs are a little brief but I figured you guys might be able to explain it better. Or I'm just dumb today. (EDIT: oh man, a wall-of-text post again, sorry, but I have QuEsTiOnS 🤪 )

After 4 days automatically you got positive feedback.

You are mostly correct. If you don't receive feedback in few days (I am not sure how long though) you automatically get positive feedback. But you will not lose the points unless you are given negative feedback. I am currently lvl 1 and can confirm that you'll get lvl 1 once you reach 5000 points, for lvl 2 you need 10000 points. I read somewhere that every level is double the points of previous one.

I wrote an essay, your communication skills are better than mine! 🤪 Thank you!

Thx. but OMG! DoUbLe the previous level? yikes. I dont see the motivation now. Esp if you take in to account how much you'd end up spending on games to giveaway. Kinda bummed that I'm level 0 since I've bought games on IG. You'd think they'd give xp for that as well.

So your level only affects which giveaways you can click to enter, right? It's still chance, and that's okay because the coins we use to enter cost us nothing but time on the site. I think I'll keep that for now then. As for the rep/reputation from feedback. Well, I'm hanging with my friends here in the Lair, and that's good enough for me.

Correct, the higher levels have less accounts competing so it does give you better chances to win. There is a great community here as well and some people are giving away games in the forums. I got more games from here than from the IG giveaway page, not to mention that half of the games you win there are dupe or fake keys.
I did giveaway couple of games I bought (from bundles) but most of points earned are from duplicates I won on Feudalife challenges. If you don't mind investing some time into playing that you'll be able to do make giveaways just from that.

I ought to have posted this earlier, since by now there's barely more than a day left, but alas I've been a bit too busy:

Ukrainian developer GSC Game World is running discount sales on all of their titles on both GOG and Fanatical:
All proceeds will be donated to the Come Back Alive foundation.

(None of GSC's games are all that far up my alley, but I think I'll probably shell out for everything (other than maybe Cossacks 3?), nonetheless.)
