I think you're right. Once you claim a game, you should be able to access it through the Amazon Gaming app even if you cancel your Prime subscription in the future. If you install the games, you'll be able to run them DRM free even without the app.

So as long as you've been diligently clicking on "claim" every month, you didn't miss anything. At least that's my understanding.

I hope your right...and even with as much restocked garbage as Amazon ships out, thats also because they have the worlds best return policy and customer support.

I don't see my Prime account going anywhere anytime soon out of all my subscriptions.

I just refuse to buy PC parts from Amazon itself for that reason, rather take my chances with a 3rd party seller on there.

But "Once you know, you Newegg"...take it from a geek--the new slogan is weak :ROFLMAO:

I'm going to double check that fact later tongith (hopefully), even though we clarified the DRM free part already.

I'll post back once I know for a fact, I should have quite alot of games if you get to keep them. I claim everything I can actually link my account to...had trouble with a few ad a couple I just didn't like that they required my other accounts or I needed to download the game first to claim the items (i was going to give away), so I skipped them entirely.

Interestingly, I already own all of these because...

...I just found out about https://steamdb.info/freepackages/ which will automatically add every single free package on Steam to your account, including any free DLC for games you own! Won't give you +1's tho. It can only add 50 per hour and it's trying to add almost 9000 things to my account, lol, but I guess cuz those games are newly free, they got added first and I already have them now!

Now do I really want/need all this stuff clogging up my account? Probably not and I might regret it later, but I had to try!

Your not alone....I'll give the mass craze thats about to erupt a little time while steam has a meltdown and I download my new games I have't yet and then I definitely have to do this haha.
