Both, some were stolen some sold were no good...and regardless it doesn't really matter (to me at least), they didn't pay the devs a single penny.

To me thats the same as stolen. Considering this is a indie based site and small devs still give away freebies here, i'm sure most people would agree.

But I don't pretend to have the right to tell other people what to do, I just wouldn't want to know about it.

I'd likely refuse the key for my account safety as well as on principle alone...again, thats just me heh.

I was talking mostly of cheap keys in bulk. Those "shops" don't even use PayPal................

G2A is indeed a very special kind of evil (don't forget.. You gotta pay to close your account xDDD )
Not every keyshop is like this. But not every store is official too. For example OpiumPulses is legit but not official like ig, Fanatical, hb (,gmg only recently became "official"). Same for cdkeys and anything that has no sellers. Obviously they use older tricks many times depending on which store it is but at least devs are getting paid 1 way or another..

As for hitsquad shovelware and generally shovelware.. Those were made just for that. Nobody in their right mind would pay 100$ to list something that would NEVER sell on steam unless they had another plan :p (depending on which shovelware we are talking about, it varies)

Well ya, I mean look at Humble for example...different scenario I know, but it makes a point.

Its totally legit, but the bundles are much cheaper than every steam sale combined of the games included.

Its not that their ain't legit ones (and I actually appreciate a more defined list of which), its just that ONE I have a serious gripe with, not all of them.

And I just happened to catch it while looking for a game key activation method ironically lol...as a dev it hits a little closer to home for me--since it could've been me if I had any artistic talent to make games :ROFLMAO:

Don't get me started listing why I think HB is by far the most two-faced, duplicitous and dubious official store..
They have absolutely ZERO redeeming qualities.. The only reason I ever buy anything there is the price. And only if it's cheaper by a good amount. I prefer to pay a little extra and elsewhere.. As you can understand I only buy a few bundles from them by my logic..

BUT I plan to sleep.. So I won't start ranting of all the reason HB is an evil witch :D

I'll go and assume since it just happened to me that the coupons removing the sale price on the store is one major reason, the fact they usually delay your keys during a sale is another, and the fact they delay digital keys (which is ridiculous) in the first place is one more haha.

I'm not the biggest fan myself...but, it worked for my reasons this time around...and the Capcom bundle was a steal.

They do have the good thing of donating to charity (I hope lol) going for them at least. As well as being able to pay big companies (like capcom) less of the profit and charity (and them of course) more...I'm sure the smaller devs likely get a bad break, but thats better than no break at all.

I haven't done enough research to claim to know how it all works, but at least its all by agreement and not outright piracy lol.

I have had, and cancelled a subscription twice already, this would make my third lol.

The first time I had another month of games coming and didn't know it and they wanted me to pay to sign back up lol. I can imagine your reasons are somewhere on my list...or maybe it gets even worse heh.

I'm really nervous to post this because I hate calling out members. So let me ask this in round about way.
There is person who creates giveaways, always in game code, but puts the most expensive DLC possible for the game, every time.
How do you report the person, if their profile shows "user's profile is not available."? Does that mean blacklisted you or are they escaping because of buggy indiegala website error?

Don't feel too bad, I have been curious about the same thing and I think its actually a known user (I forget who), but nobody here is cheering them on (at least not openly lmao)...you have no fear of posting that.

Personally I'd like to hunt them down in real life (the ones really scamming) and call them outSIDE they're little hiding hole lmao.

So they can hate me even more than you, unfortunately I don't have an answer for you either...except you have every right to be suspicious.

Somebody who frequents these threads has answered the reporting question, but you would need to dig backwards quite a bit...which is why I don't know off hand.

I was level 0 when they told me and you can't blacklist or report people unless you are above it, which I finally am.

Let me just say this: Some of these users actually have enough back built credits on random sites to actually purchase those as well, so they could very well be legit.

I haven't even looked at the user putting them up, I just scroll past them lol.

Simple fact is, any user here 'could' be doing it on a second account and idk how much help reporting it would even be honestly...best to just keep an eye yourself for things that are too repetitive or too good to be true really, you CAN blacklist a member if your at least level 1 if you got ripped off, right in the giveaway section.

Maybe best is to report this to paula, she seems the most responsive moderator. (y)
If you report it to Admin, nobody feels responsible to do something.

Hi! I won region restricted key at IGFC, that is gives me "Sorry, but this product is not available for purchase in this country. Your product key has not been redeemed.". Packageid shows - 4294967295, so it may be RE HD. Who will try it? All i ask is your responce with the name of the game itself, you can get the key.
