I actually rarely buy on Steam sales since I really think that third party stores always have better deals , unless there are games like Ender Lilies that for some reason only sell on Steam ..... What is the reason for that ? Why some games only sale on Steam , is it part of exclusivity deal or something like that ?
I use steam launcher for my favorite gamepad and thats why I prefer to just buy on steam and pay the price, unless its something I can definitely use the launcher for like Ubi connect games etc.

No, they just don't bother making a secondary deal with some other shop. The only relevant term steam has is that if you make a huge deal to another store then you should make one and for steam

Most games I buy on steam either exist only on steam or are part of a bundle on steam so it's cheaper than standalone somewhere else.
But sometimes on some rare occasions steam is actually cheaper than other places. And I'm nit taking into account regional pricing that's the #1 reason steam sells so much more than the rest as I'm from EU so I already have only the highest prices :(
That bites (prices), and I've seen an itch author get hit for that, selling on steam and giving it away on itch...he was forced to match the price.

Ok I am open for advices , what do you think I should buy : Firewatch + Inscyption or just Ender Lilies ?
I am actually most interested in Inscryption , but that game only came out few months ago and its purchasable on other stores , and there is a big chance that by the end of the year that game will go bellow 10 $.
Firewatch I find very interesting because some people consider it a masterpiece , while some consider a complete waste of time , when game has such polar opposite staindpoints I usually wonder which side will I take :ROFLMAO: .
For Ender Lilies biggest draw is besides ofc being a fan of metroidvania and art style , is the fact that it is only available on Steam .

There is an option C : don't buy anything ofc :ROFLMAO:
EDIT: Option E : buy everything , you only live once :ROFLMAO:

Its more about the cards than the game itself usually .
I hope not. It's an unbundled game with a historical low of 10 EUR for a Steam key. (Tiny bit cheaper for Epic.) It would be a complete waste to activate it for a few cents worth of trading cards if you are not interested in it. Would make more sense to sell or trade it then.

It's a good quality Banished clone city builder game so it's a very interesting giveaway for those who like the genre like me. I hope to be able to get a key today.

Edit: managed to get a key, yay. :D
