Gamer Girl was written in bold because I've seen people skim the text, immediately reply to ask for a game, and then realize that something totally different is being offered. Sometimes people don't stop to properly read the text, so I repeated it a few times and put it in bold. To be more specific, I posted a steam code with one of those hints like "**= Peanut Butter" and someone replied with something like "Me here." I was confused until they explained something like "I thought you were offering RPGMaker... I just wanted the art assets" he wanted me to send him the code, but my original message had the steam code in it, it was a code drop for an actual RPGMaker game, I put the name of the game followed by "(RPGMaker Game)".

Girls need to play games too ;) I thought it would be a fun idea to give the game to a girl instead of the typical guy who would play that kind of game. I gave 24 hours for her to claim it, there's about 4 hours left for that, after which I will contact someone who has it on their wishlist, I gave random girl first crack at it, but someone will end up with it anyways.

What do you mean by "2 different platforms", is Killing Floor on Xbox or did you just mean 2 different Steam Accounts?
That was totally me :ROFLMAO:

I was so annoyed I had just got suckered in the giveaway for an RPGMaker I didn't finish reading it lol.

Edit:

And here I did it again, although much more understandably.

I thought @LuckyStrike1305 had posted the original when I said...

Maybe she's looking for another female friend 🤷‍♂️

i mean being the only gamer girl that anyone knows around here, might have its perks or might be annoying as hell.

I couldn't say, since I'm not her, and to me it really makes no difference.

Now I'm also confused.

GLIXSPOT is back online, looks like they are transitioning on to a "gaming news" site with some episodic giveaways
the site is slow and clumsy, the comment section ask me to login despite i'm already logged
next giveaway : july 16 : PC Building Simulator Steam key
task : make a comment on the giveaway page
(i also had to make a new account)
edit : you have to create a new account

Hello I am the owner of Glixspot. Thank you for your feedback. The login error should be fixed. We are working on the website speed. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. My Discord is NioGlix#7381

Tried making an account. Never received mail to activate account and no option to resend activation mail. So there goes that, I guess.
Edit: nvm. It just took longer time than usual.
Edit: Man, activated account. But whenever I go to any other page besides the account page, it shows not logged in. So I can't comment. No wonder, it only has 8 comments.
Can you send me a DM on Discord to NioGlix#7381?

We published some bugfixes. Try deleting your browser cache. That could be the cause of your issue.

Epic :p

But I prefer Wolfenstein style (both ooooold and new), Sniper Elite (ok not similar.. But I love it xD), CoD (ok that was predictable), Homefront

On another note, some rpgmaker games are actually good!

I was the "RPGMaker" guy that jumped on it...because I had just bet like 60 silver on one and realized they had the same game on every single tier on gala.

I was ticked and I thought Turdstplat was giving one away right after it happened :ROFLMAO:

As for your name, I thought YOU were trying to give it to a gamer girl that game, but you were quoting Turdsplat.

I am unsure of Turdsplat's actual gender, I always assumed male due to the avatar and name (Machete if i'm not mistaken)...but I'm wise enough never to assume and I never had reason to ask.

Which confused me as to why a "gamer girl" myself.

I know what you mean, I picked these up during the Steam Sale

I played Labyrinthine Dreams, but I got stuck on a puzzle and abandoned playing it (had fun though).
Also played To the Moon, don't remember why I abandoned this one (probably to play Team Fortress 2 instead).

My first attempt at even modifying a game was wolfenstein..thought I was all elITe when I changed some graphics around...again, as you had said, I just wanted the assets, I could never actually use RPGMaker, I'd be better off coding it myself.

Thats MORE confusing to me than C/C++/C# is lmao.

I have one new Doom and Wolf, just for love of the classics...but I hate FPS these days lol.

You just need a starting point, and tons of dedication, I found this:
Scroll down for Tutorials.
Was that meant for me? Oh, I didn't mean I couldn't learn it...I meant I'd be more likely the type to make my own than to bother learning it lol.

I have already made most of the base layout they give you in my many attempts over the years as far back as Visual Basic, unfortunately back then...they didn't have mass free assets on itch.io, rpgmaker, etc. that you could legally use.

I even had one running on my Nintendo DS system at one point, again, I bailed on due to lack of assets. I appreciate it though (y)

EDIT:

Let me add I have zero issue with anyone who does, I LIKE alot of RPGMaker games...just not my style.

Been coding long enough to make my own easier than learn a secondary program...thats all.
