No doubt lol. Especially if they weren't after the giveaways, but the user info of those who enteredthis also can be called "rain of"
you got a point!!I am not sure but just used logic. whatever is 10 points at steam gifts usually 8 points at indiegala.
yes just this sentence at giveaway section makes a question mark at headsi'm not an expert in web/network but i'm not sure this is a ddos attack, after all the other parts of the site are still operating...and indiegala is not a so big company
so, leading a ddos attack just for farming keys or leveling to 8 ? what a loss of time and effort
i looked into the infos with the chrome dev tools and seen that IG is using akamai (cdn mode) and cloudflare
are you sure, cause the steam price is about 33€ in my country![]()
yeah, you're right againyes just this sentence at giveaway section makes a question mark at heads
Sorry, due to high traffic on this page, we are having some issues handling your request. Retry later.
A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal traffic of a targeted server, service or network by overwhelming the target or its surrounding infrastructure with a flood of Internet traffic.
For this long? An the first time...I'd go with an attack first, there also the simple concept they tried locking down the GA section due to a upgrade or maintenance and all us stubborn bastards trying anyways caused a major crash lmao.yeah, you're right again
but i'm thinking more about about a mismanagment of the database system/bad implementation, like too much people accessing the same ressources in the same moment (modifying a value when she's already use by an other process = writing error), i thing this could lead to the same type of message....(i'm not an expert in db managment too)
i'm next to be sure that indiegala web development team is provided by an external company (and not the same since the beginning, so the new company has to repair/patching the mess leaved by the precedent )For this long? wanted to offer that one to Jer7choMass Effect Legendary Edition - From the wishlist of Jer7cho
Compare that to Intel Extreme Graphics 2 is like comparing RTX 3090 Ti to Geforce 210. It lags even when running 2D titles like World of Goo and Plants vs Zombies.I remember being able to run most PS3/PS4 titles off my Intel 6700K Graphics (it was still a beast of a rig) except some AC titles I bought before building it (Go ahead @jer7cho--that was the twins though, evie and jacob, gonna have to up your game lmao), Games like Tales of Berseria, FF Type-0 HD etc....don't let people tell you its all about the GPU, my 32GB of memory was saving my hide on that one lol.
I originally had no GPU, I built it to program...once I saw what it was capable of without one, in went a 1070 8GB...which became a 3090 24GB.
Now its more of a gaming rig than a programming one, I got played by my own hobbies
Nothing close to Doom, I died when somebody told me they Ran DMC 5 off of Intel Graphics...I have no idea how so many gamers are on laptops, legit lol.
There is 1 more that's currently running and it'd almost a page https://www.indiegala.com/giveaways/card/vega-conflict-enforcer-pack/858966level 6 creating fake giveaways, it will soon reach level 8 and moderation will do nothing to stop it.
