I suggested that at first, but I didn't even have the registry keys because I stopped downloads from other PCs and had my bandwidth set to scratch before the latest update, I did offer to stop both their updates...but they were evidently fine with that solution (I would have killed the service too on MY own device lol)

Just for the record, I found while doing this recent updates have changed the bandwidth keys in the registry because they added upload AND download bandwidth, you may need to go change them again.
I've been using that hack since Windows 7 (which I still have as well as 10) and its moved for a third time now, second for Windows 10 (y)

I'd be interested in seeing that script if your allowed to share it (as text in a PM), I'd be reading the code anyways lmao...if not I'll have to check into that part, didn't know you could pause just some, thanks for the info.
Yeah I had to do it myself as I was livestreaming from slowish internet and windows would cause frame drops all the time. I rarely ever do on linux, In fact I was able to up my bitrate as well.

It's From Chris Titus, here's the github page and here's the guy's website for more info.

Yeah, I tried Gentoo Linux. But it was too complicated. Installing took some time. And after an update the dual monitor setup did not work anymore.
Installed Linux Mint and it recognized both monitors with no problem from the start. (y)

I used to be Linux user long time ago, I tried many distros, my favourite was Puppy Linux, it was the easiest and lightest I've tried and It was the one that gave me less problems in terms of compatibility with hardware. I used Linux to make still work an old computer and laptop and it did a wonderful work for everyday use.
I can say Linux is pretty ok operating system but for gaming it can't beat Windows Imho. Now if I install Linux I have to re learn everything and spend a lot of time to find out how to make it works a program, a driver, it is good but you need time and patience :)
Hopefully Steam decks OS will fix that soon ;)

A little late to the party but happy 1000th page, everyone :) It's been a lot of fun following convos, getting to know some of you in PMs, living with the highs and lows of Feudalife, and giving/getting games within this awesome community.

And it's Thursday, so time to share my thanks! Shout out to @bigdealbg for an awesome Red Faction bundle, @yellowgodmotheroracle for an obscure delisted game Cloud Chamber, and @defaults-channel for This War of Mine (and of course I can't forget @trythecodes for reaching out with an offer of the game as well!).
You all rock <3

Looks like I missed yet another @henry-hunry giveaway (Finally one in my time zone but had to take a late lunch, UGH!) but it's been a good week already, so can't be too sad! I'll have to be quicker next time for the Alien Breed Trilogy or Magicka: The Other Side of the Coin.

That would be me lol.

And thank you to everyone who pointed in my direction, regardless if I was too late or not.

Much appreciated.

Just today I was watching videos about how Win10 can run on Steam Deck, it can but obviously games doesn't run as smooth as Steam Os. But I 'm sure they will do a lot of progress in future. One day I can considering to replace my laptop with a Steam Deck hooked to a monitor if it will be worth. It has a great price for what it does. :)
