You dont link a FB account anymore. When you migrate your oculus acct to a meta account you have the choice to link FB or not. If you dont then all you lose is the ability to play Horizons and get bugged by messenger in vr and who wants that anyway? I chose not to link FB this time even tho my FB login WAS my oculus login.

I hesitated too,and had a pig of a time trying to do it.. yeah remember my rant post? I'm sure not everyone had the issues I did. It's done now. I've calmed down. I honestly believe the Meta acct is MUCH less intrusive than the previously req'd FB login. Still. Your choice. I chose to migrate. (If you also migrate you can play the games I link lol) 🤷‍♂️

I've been claiming the games and I did catch the message about not being able to use them...figured rather than link my Rift Touch I'd 'maybe' get the cheapest Quest 2 down the road since I don't need much for storage space (would still be running off my PC) instead.

After hearing that (and I remember the rant) :LOL: I may actually be willing to do it (y)

I also figured it was a Quest only situation so knowing nothing about how to help you, I didn't really think much of it--except that it sucked lol.

Appreciate the info, big time in this case...thanks man.

Dante's post earlier, listing those itchio games led me on one of those hour long rides where you end up finding more games you didnt know you wanted (seems a daily occurance here lol). So, here's what I found:

As well as Daedelic I now have a soft spot for Kaigan Games so let me see if I can tempt you all as well with these horror treats:

Sara Is Missing android or windows (free) ... different dev but was either in Dante's list or recommended to me on itcho and led me to these simlilarly styled horror games (someone goes missing, alternate endings depending on your choices). These are all by Kaigan Games:

Simulacra (1 - not free) 383 MB
Simulacra 2: (not free) 14.5 GB
Simulacra: Pipe Dreams 500M (free)
Simulacra 3 (will be 16G) - not yet released but adding it to your wishlist gets us all rewards (scroll down the steam page for details)
or check the website for already released bonus downloads, steam page also has the demo available
Doctor Who anyone? Same thing happened. Sneaky steam guessed what else I might like. Yep. Steam was right.

Obviously you can check the grey market for key prices but with Doctor Who: Edge Of Reality, steam is 40% off which is cheapest right now.

(which has just reminded me that if Nitrous also likes Doctor Who then may I suggest Doctor Who The Edge Of Time VR either on Steam or Oculus store (Rift S) - not free but wayyyy fun lol)

No, it's all oculus accounts (all headsets) that need to migrate to meta or yeah they're gonna lock us out. Supposedly.
(I've been locked out of my headset while having a legit account, it sucks, but you just contact support, read out the serial number on the side arm of your headset and boom! back to playing)

And the last giveaway I'll be doing for now is bit different. It's opened only to members actively engaging with the community by gifting games and making giweaways. If you are unknown to me you'll have to provide proof that you gifted at least two games in last 2 months here on the forums (gifting games directly to people based on their wishlists does count but you have to prove it).

The game in question is Just Cause 4 Complete Edition. And my idea behind this is to say thank you to the people that make this community awesome.
