My friends just took me on a tasting to WhistlePig Whiskey Distillery - they make primarily Rye Whiskey, but they have two bourbons (one was a collab with a major Kentucky distillery, though they wouldn't tell me who) and both were smoooooooth.

But as a beer buy, I can appreciate a good whiskey barrel aged stout to kick me in the face. My local craft brewery just sealed three barrels of one which will be ready to tap by Christmas

Then a little after Christmas my region enters Maple Syrup season, and they sell Whiskey Barrel Maple Syrup But you can't get tipsy off that!

And as always, back to games - thank you so much for Evan's Remains!

@henry-hunry @buhroobee my favorite alchohol is a whiskey, my favorite whiskey is a Chivas Rigal. No matter 12 y.o. or Royal Salute (rare type), all good for me, older is better, offcourse it`s a rule. All my friends know that I liked this sort and I drink it most as possible if have a choise. Don't mix it with anything, only in its pure form with ice. Chivas is always soft for me as the elixir of the Gods

no ice should be put to that 50 year old whiskey (Taste Aficionado Retro)
ice is a element that adds water to your drink. inorder to respect that single casket all those family protected labels, history, years of production and value in general, it should always be drunk neat, without ice or mixers. When ice meets the Whiskey, all those rich aroma that comes from the identify scents and flavors in a whiskey will change or die.
