Well, no kidding - I don't understand that they are so upset about gifts. I didn't have time to pick up any cool games because I was busy. But I'm glad for the guys who received cool gifts from you, some even 2 and 3. I'm glad from the bottom of my heart. There is a proverb in Russia: "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

Really interesting there is same proverb here in my country I though it was only italian saying, but I researched on wiki it comes from the latin:

"Noli equi dentes inspicere donati"
From Urban Dictionary: Look a gift horse in the mouth :

"For example, you can find it in St. Jerome's Commentary on the Epistle to the Ephesians, written in the 5th century.
You look in a horse's mouth to determine its age and/or health. So if someone gives you a horse, and you look in it's mouth, it's like looking for a price tag. It's rude!"

and you can find this in many language versions:
from wiki:
  • bulgaro: На харизан кон зъбите не се гледат.
  • corso: À cavaddu dunatu, un fidià denti
  • croato: Poklonjenom konju se ne gleda u zube
  • francese: À cheval donné on ne regarde pas les dents
  • greco: σου χαρίζαν γάιδαρο και τον κοίταζες στα δόντια
  • inglese: Don't look a gift horse in the mouth

I was interested mostly in Team Sonic Racing, but it is not very much in the priority list :)

faster is better sometimes

or we have 2x of the action maybe even more (todays example)

When I find the right time than its the right time

winners will be happy and If we dont win anything I can understand that feeling too.

This is how I've done

One person in Japan sleeps, The other in Antartica awakes and The man organizing is not at well with the timings and maybe because there is no right time for this things

It was a good idea...regardless, is what it is. Miss one, catch one, yada yada...life in the lair 🤷‍♂️

Understandable.
But tbh I'd never said the same if I'd miss Alien Isolation or RE0 or FFVIIR (just for example, there's no sneaky plan or something) for no good reason.
It would be devastating. And even if I'd be the only one to blame (like if I'm myself overslept or something), it still would be devastating, like for real.
But here we're today, and nothing devastating happened, I guess, so it's all cool))

To you...who can say if someone missed something they truly wanted.

I get your point...but some of the less blunt (or more polite :LOL:) people than us may have missed something and simply chose not to comment.

Like I said before, life in the lair, retro has a life to live just like the rest of us....and we need to respect that regardless of our 'wants'.

Much as it might suck when it happens.
