Dunno, maybe? I'm a bit random, but i do love rpg, pixel art games, cute games like farming, most of games i need to try or feel like trying if tgey re not rpg or subgenres of it, i hate point and click but there is one that i love( drem machine, holy potatoes)

And i did like mmorpg( but it is only fun with friends

well, even though I'd described my tastes in completely different way, I'm too in love with pixel graphics and also like rpg (but it's Jrpg for the most part). I'm also not a fan of point and click genre but has 1-2 series in that I'm interested to try out (like Syberia or Leisure Suit Larry, and some of those Holy Potatoes' games are sounding interesting too).
I can bet that if we'll try to delve deeper in that territory we'll find out ,ore differences in our tastes than similarities, but that trio of games - that coincidence was outstanding ^,^

was it an Easter egg from the 2009's movie "The Men Who Stare at Goats"? XDD

The Zapper didn't use scanlines at all, it used the reflection of the color masking on the TV screen itself (which is why the Zapper made the screen "flash" like a gun was shot), adding a sense of realism at the same time as making the tech work.
The NES zapper used the "light" reflecting off the TV screen and nothing else. It caused the system to make a graphical flash and used its sensor on the actual zapper to target.
It could have been done with a controller..you press the trigger is sent a non-existent (at the time) "C" button so to speak that told the game to flash, the rest was external and built into the actual gun via flashes of light off a sensor.
The newer guns used the "signal" from the actual television coax cable to process the image and send it "back" to the guns from where they were connected...
which also required them to be within range of the guns connection point (port, dongle, whatever) instead of the television, which is why you couldn't shoot point blank at the screen.
They relied on scanlines from old CRT TVs that no longer exist, not light reflection...they're not even technically "light" guns, more like data processing controllers in truth.
Scanlines in emulators are visible because we have newer televisions that don't require the graphics being like that anymore, but true to the name...they are designed to actually "emulate" the original system.
The ROMs (as you know) are ripped versions of the original data from the console games, so in order to process that data they coded them with scanlines, thats why you see the lines on an emulator and you never saw a nintendo do that--unless your TV was dying

Yes, that was me how won the game. I tried to play it alone and it is technically possible. You can control both characters with the same keys. However I don't recommend playing it alone, find a friend for playing it. In later levels, the second character keeps dying while trying to control the first and makes the game much harder.

also I know that the game is harder on the final levels (tbh, it's hard all the way through, not only in the end) 'cause I've already completed it with one of my friends IRL, but that was a pirated copy and we couldn't open bonus characters.
