Yes I bought Postal when it wasn't free and it dropped cards, lg key is retail key gives +1 bur doesn't drop any card. They disabled card drops when it went free to play.

it should work, it worked for another user (I don't remember who now) I suggested to remove the game and redeem the indiegala key.
