Heres the basics, might as well go public for others.

Windows 10 Resolution Settings...what you want to look for is "(recommended)" next to the size, if that fails, try the highest 3 "sizes" (ignore hz)

One should be 3:4, one should be 16:9, and if you have a 3rd its for Ultra wide.

After you click settings, click system

This is where you want to look, it could either be Advanced Scaling (350% for the pics) but check the "Display resolution" first...like I said, try the First 3-4 options starting at the bottom of the list.

You can also try changing the orientation but it " should" be on landscape, for a TV it may need to be changed.

One of those three options should fix it, if not you may need to reinstall your graphics driver while connected to the TV.

I agree, but not knowing the TV settings makes that really hard, easier to see if its the GPU control panel or Windows 🤷‍♂️

When doing PC repair, always imagine your trying to help a 2yr old (I'm not talking about cat guts in particular, just a basic rule of thumb)...not everyone is as computer literate as us--add in a language barrier and it becomes extremely hard to try and walk someone through their TV settings.

Legit, I can fucking imagine. I'm close to a few places much worse than where I actually live, and a few places much better in the styx (lmao), but they're all still run down shitholes.

You'd probably do better in the big city for your bucks though at least.

EDIT:

My storage unit is probably more clean and humane than most buildings and I'm paying alot less (expensive unit though, temperature controlled for PC parts) 🤦‍♂️

It's possible, but you really have to put in work to find those "gems." I've had the shithole experience, and I've found some decent places. But we're always talking outer boroughs of NYC, or up in the ghetto of Manhattan near the Bronx, not Manhattan proper like you'd imagine from watching movies or TV. That's probably unattainable for a whole lot of people. 😩

Ya...thats like trying to find a condo in Cali. Fight all the rich people who have an entire set of cancer laws (pretty much everything is known to be cancerous to the state of California), only the rich need the extra warning though.

Its also where every corporation (Microsoft, Sony, Etc.) Sue you from...because the state is owned by the big wigs :rolleyes:

I already joined because others want it (I have it already), but right now tickets sold = 1574. It's been my experience that after 800 tickets sold you stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning.

I'll join it when I can, good thing you spoke up early enough (currently 18 Hours+ left) do your best to always speak up early, I usually spend all my Silver before logging into the Forum, if it says 1 Hour left I can't join it, if it says 18+ Hours left, I can wait a while and join no problem.
