I am gonna buy the original. I just hope that it doesn't get removed & they release a "pixel remaster" for it.
I get it that it's a very ambitious remake but to divide 1 game to 3 part & sell each part for 70$ ain't my thing.
FFVII remake integrade is just part 1. There will be 2 more FFVII remake.

And I've played the original, obviously (why else I'd want the Remake if I have no love for the characters for a several decades? I'm not a hype-man, really).
But it's not the same, and the Remake looks/plays FAR BETTER. About 'plays better' - even though I love turn-based system, the more it's action oriented the better it's for me, and FFVIIR is almost a slasher alas it's still a bit turn-based.
And yes, the price is HUGE considering it's three games from one oldie, but...I think there's no other way when the game become that bigger.
There's enough content for three games, I'm sure.
