Just...why? Especially you Ken, your savvy enough to probably manage building a gaming rig if not buying one to avoid putting in a processor and then modifying it.

A stationary laptop will never keep up with a desktop, the only benefit is if you live in a mouse hole without the space for a desk

That's dubious benefit, since you still need a desk to use laptop comfortably. Real benefit is that you can easily take laptop with you when fleeing the city that's under shelling.

And I'm not even using a desk with my desktop atm, and typing on my lap...so, theory denied.
