So.. I should had remembered this.. Lol
Not unless you care how big your Hard drive really is.

1024 bytes = Kib (Kibibyte or Kilobyte)
1024 x 1024 KiB = 1 Mib (Mebibyte or Megabyte)
1024 x 1024 MiB = 1 Gib (you get the point lol)
....so on and so on.

Digital media storage is aligned on a 512 bytes sector (these days) by default, basically it all comes down to the system, 16-bit, 32-bit, 64-bit ;)

You get the idea.

Here you are proving them right :ROFLMAO:
nope. the only one who's problematic are them 'cause I have a problem with them. I can say what are those problems and why I have it, and they can't say sh1t. That's the problem.
We don't want you here not 'cause you've made something bad but just 'cause we don't want you here.
That's IMHO a HUGE dick move on their part.

Do you find the rule "to play the game you won on steamgifts" in a steam group
ridiculous and biased and arrogant as hell?

Again this rule was made by the steam group, not steamgifts.
He literally CANT play them, I get that point (32 bit system and OS), but like you said...hes forgetting the most important factor.

These are HUMANS doing a GA, as a group...this is not paid for by a corporation. Its no different than here...he just "see's" it different because we don't check system specs when he asks for a game.

Thats us being nice, not them being dicks. I'm sure you have been refused certain expensive games because your system can't run them...sometimes its just too painful to let age in a list.

This I know nothing about...but I don't doubt it either

People get on a high horse sometimes being in control of something like that...depends on the person
You know that you can, like, don't enter the group if you don't like their rules?
But then...no games 😭
There are people who not only can fulfill that requirement, but that's actually the way they play anyway, so they will enjoy it. Can't see anything wrong with such people creating a group.
This is a gime gime discussion thats just irritating me even more rn, and I'm irritated enough. I'm done.

Rools are very simple: you need to be well-known and PB me what games from this list you wanna have.
All games have cards, achievements, positive reviews, give +1 to the collector's badge.
You can grab how many you want but only for activation to personal acc.
You can be Kid-Kidding, Bumbarash or Vic, dont worry, I`m kind russky boy.
Maybe duped(!) or keys from wrong games - if yes it`s not my problem.
The validity of this offer is limited.
I would like to thank CTPAX001RUS for games he gifted to me

weird.. Either Ididn't won it or it didn't reg in my brain.. huh.. I go see, thanks!
Net* (internet speed)
Cat typing 101 xDDD
is it about games falling in 'price' if too many given away?
yeah, it's a stupid thing IMO too.
It shouldn't be acting retroactively taking effect. But CG (owner) is useless and the mods too
I think there's still hope. For example Lootboy and [GOG] threads there are still nice and cozy ^, ^
True, we are still using it and talking there as well after all
Well in their eyes, giving you a AAA title you can't play is stupid...in the sense of like Spider-Man, even I agree.

I wouldn't give that to someone who couldn't f'kin play it right now, I won't even buy it for myself.
S what happens if your pc gets fried and you can't afford a new one? And then covid breaks lose again, lose your job and are unable to buy one for a year+? My point is.. Things can happen.

I understand what you mean and why, generally I agree but some people won't be able to buy something even if they find a pc that can play it. Not even later.

Yes, it's perfectly fine to want someone to play it NOW, but again.. Why discussing it is bad? At least that's my issue :p

I had forgotten the 1kB = 1 character :p

It's about the philosophy of SG. YOU are thinking differently than SG. The whole site and groups were made with different ideas. Things change. CV abuse no. It's not about him only not being able to play something the response he received. And again.. What if he gets gifted a pc in a month? Yes, your key is your key, do what you want with it. Discussing the issue in a healthy way isn't bad though. You are forgetting what SG is and was about. That's the biggest difference :p
