I will use this opportunity to shamelessly promote my trade bot Steam Community :: RyzheBot
It trades NOT MARKETABLE trading cards 1:1 disregard of the game they are from (cross-set). Maybe somebody will find it useful to complete some sets.
It can also work as trash-bot, so if you want to get rid of something useless - feel free to send trades.
If bot has any coupons (it happens rarely, when someone dumps them there) - those are free to take.
And of course, donations are welcome. Donated non marketable cards will help other users to complete their sets. If somebody will donate something marketable - I will consider it a gift to me and sell it (ha-ha, fat chance).
This isn't even a bot exactly.. Basically you what? Auto accept a whatever offer?

Still, not a bad toy 🤷‍♂️

You know, if you don't care about who you give your steam info too...and I know most of you don't lol.

So there ya have it Dante :ROFLMAO: (heres looking at you kid)
As this is "set up" it can't do anything nor pull data. Anything you could pull as a user is what it can pull. It's barely a bot

On the other hand, there are other things that could be bad but I can't check those
I don't get it...o_O
Is it SO dangerous to trade some cards at Steam?
On its own no (not more than usually)
Depends on who or what your trading with...any program can be used for the right or the wrong reasons, I mean if it trades inventory beyond using Steams system, it has access to your inventory, no?
No, you have to manually send that in. If you wanna look into something, check the urls etc but unless something is hidden it can pull whatever you could pull from a user's profile. Basically all it does is saying "trade me and I'll accept"
Well, if the bot's inside the Steam (i.e. litterally, it's the steamcommunity link), then it can't be BEYOND it.
Or am I wrong?
It isn't anywhere. The "bot" part is a script to accept anything and that's it
I don't give my steam info to anyone. Bot is running on my home server, so my credentials never leave my home.
Why you need an entire server for such a simple script?
There is always a way to break or bend the rules, fundamental thought process of any hacker at heart.

No system is perfect, no rule is absolute.

Nothing is impossible...I don't know enough about Steams internal system to say either which way....plain and simple, us talking all day could be considered a risk, information is a weapon. Risk vs Reward is always my thought process...I'll skip on quick trades, cheap games, and unknown users for a few scraps.

Its a matter of what its worth to each user to take any chance online....all the way down to giving minor info and clicking links.
Yes, but think outside the box here. The "service" itself can do much
Exactly how do you think they trade with you, without you seeing there steam user
It's nothing but a "middle-man" account. Now IF there is some issue, it isn't with the trade itself (could be a link, could be a script running from a link yadda yadda yadda)
I would fucking hope not, but thats a rule of life, not a rule of binary, don't confuse the two.
True

Sometimes I wonder - do you have some alcohol problems? Or this is just some eccentric sense of humor?
Sometimes I wonder.. Did you got born a rabbits ass or you were turned into one?..

Everytime I see you anywhere you are in a fight with something.. Coincidence?..

That bot is barely a bot anyway so what are you even advertising? It has countless better alternatives..
How much proof did you really need? :ROFLMAO:

bumping this
Really hope you are just a jester, because if you really believe in this bullshit - you're dumb as hell.
many things can happen in many ways so someone else is the clown here.. You should be more aware
I just hate nazis.
And I hate illiterate people.. 🤷‍♀️

You don't seem to understand these things at all. So don't continue. Never. This is neither the time nor the place for that. Tell us about an interesting game. Or about the bad one. As it is intended on this forum.
You can't ignore everything and that's me being light..
so fight on your topics. and don't jump into questions you don't understand.
unfair at best

It claims marketable cards as a "gift" or "donation", i'd say it has a brain. A simplistic greedy one lol. Explains the bans too.
You can't ignore everything and that's me being light..
What he should have ignored was the obviously fake profile, dig deeper next time.
many things can happen in many ways so someone else is the clown here.. You should be more aware
You should stop stealing peoples work in pieces and putting it up on Github then acting like your some kind of legend is more like it.

You can tell a programmer by his code alone, patterns and formats are consistent and obvious to anyone who really works with algorithms.

Unless you got around that or just did that as a front while interacting with their system directly through the 'server' while using that as cover.

Thats what you see, doesn't mean its all it does.
Why you need an entire server for such a simple script?

hahaha, what "box"? I was trying to be polite then.

I must be missing something here, or you read this wrong.

TY lucky for reminder, that's another sale event right now

Sadly Ib is one of the games that hiked price in jan, making it dollar price, so 20% is quite expensive for me 😢
Many of PLAYISM titles don't discount past 20/30/40
Ok, I'm with pax on this...if you promote ever single steam sale i think i'll go insane 🤯
