Server is too strong word But then again, that's how people call unattended computer that only interacts via network - so I said "server". If you are curious currently that's a raspberryPI - small, energy-efficient, and enough for all my tasks. And yes, I don't use it just for that, I run there some other services I use.

i don't think whatnitrous was talking about him being indian, i forgot the world, but it is when you say one things but you mean another.

reading what i understand is that he said something to dante like " where will you get where he is from, if not from his profile", because he said he is lying from where he is from( and it trully looks like it), yes, there are vpns and things like that, but it won't change where the accoun't was created first, and i don't think someone will create a "main" account with other country than his main.( you can say that you are from a country and u aren't, can say that i'm from a country in my steam profile, and u can find by my steamprofile that im from brazil)

and india was prob the first country he remembered because of the guy that was here some time ago, dunno if u remember about him.

there is a way to know where a steam profile is from, and past usernames

don't want to believe nitrous, or can't understand, can just search by yourself and find evidence, it isn't that hard, and you can start by searching about your own profile to find if it is 100% true, then check others

It matters because he is being defending by others who feel they have been wronged by russia or are ukrainian because they THINK he is Ukrainian. Thats it, nothing more.

and dante, who can trustfull afirm that it will only affect your non tradeable cards just because he said? you need to insert your steam data, and also gala won't say when a post is edited or not, there are a lot of secury flaws that you can identify even by the way he "wrotte" things.

i'm not that deep in programation and what i know is insufficient to go and analyze all the bot and data, but for me it looks like a scam, a very "dumb" and " atractive" scam.

there are a lot of ways to make someone do something or download something, be it by something atractive, by forcing with scams like " i know what you have done, and provide some infos about you", by half lies, hiding things and lot of things.( the main thing is baiting you into it and believing it)

by what i know to be trully "CLEAN" something needs to be open code and fully downloaded at where you can see the code, so you can examine it, and that trully downloads only the "data" there.

in internet you need to view and examine things in a bigger way than in reallity, althought some things can be hidden( if the person is smart), there wil be clues somewhere, the more smarter the less the clues.

uk, if it is a trully clean thing, things need to be done in a certain way, and trusting a person that you know is hard, what more one you don't know, and what more about one that you don't know and lies, even more someone that you don't know, lies and are on internet from another country.

That...makes absolutely no sense. Why the fuck would you use a separate board for a mini server that was going to run things like THIS of all things? Not that its impossible in the least, but its not practical either.

Pretty sure it is open source, doesn't mean thats the code that was compiled on his end either.

So your wrong about that, unless you actually compile the code yourself, i have an encryption program (same I've mentioned before) that lets you put a password on your files for example! but I can easily remove the line that requires the password in the code and unlock any file I choose because I made the fucking program. I've had to do it when I forgot my own passwords because the encryption is actually so good it would take me a long time to decrypt it, even knowing how it worked.

Anything ran on a server is ran beyond your control, especially a personal one...although you can inspect the data going through your end and some of the remote as well.

not defending nitrous, but uk that a google translator can be done, and some people know more than one language, right? i dunno sh*t about writing in hebraic or russian, but i can use a translator or try to learn it.

i'm brazilian, i speak portuguese.

i do know how to speak english( sometimes better, sometimes worst)
i do know how to speak a bit of spanish.

if i try to use translator to speak spanish, native people may find and error or two, the more complex the language the more errors with translating( portuguese people can easily found out if someone just "translated" to portuguese if they know a bit of their own language)( yes lot of people doesnt even know the base of portuguese), but what if i use translator copled with my knowledge and searched?

if i use spanish+ portuguese+ translator, i can even pass a mexican or someone from spain
