Wow, i missed some fireworks here. Three pages of duking it out. Play nice, people.

In this time I've been playing that cat game i got from CTPAX. It's hilariously broken. On the rainy level, there's even a "place the player here and delete this flag" message visible on the left side, clearly it's an asset flip and the dev didn't even bother to remove the notes. The last level has an impossible jump, so you can't really complete the game! But according to the forums, the dev deleted the achievement for it so you can 100% the game, because... wait for it... he couldn't fix the level. Lol. How hard is it to place another platform or fix the existing one, unless you didn't design the game. Maybe I'll search for the asset pack later to see if it's a copy paste job.

here in brazil for around 2 years was created a thing called PIX, a thing that banks( just a function) added on their apps that is connected with the central bank of brazil that let you transfer money instantly anytime, what do you think happened? less than minutes of the notice were already scams, apps with the name pix, sites, even the dumbest scams got people scammed.

and as i said

people is people, and some will just do for "fun", if you search in brazil you will found a lot of dumb and smart scams, some are so dumb that you can even laugh.

and yes, being falsely acused isn't good nor have any justice, but you also can't prove his inocence, right? and can't prove that someone won't be scammed, or got the data stealed or anything on those lines, right?

it isn't about who is right or wrong, and i think most of won't download it, but u know, there are a lot of people with different ages, mindsets, knowing more or less about internet, me, myself when was younger would download anything without even a second thought if it had viruses or not, if it could steal my data or not, and someone like my pastself could be here.

from my experience it looks like a scam.
is it safe? probably not and i can't say for sure as i can't do an analysis of the code, and even if i could it could be changed at anytime.

Being aware of basic scams helps as a simple user

I missed this, I feel the need to put this on an understandable level for you...he was actually trying to learn programming from one of those 'visual placement to visible code' programs.

I agree as far as scams...which is what shocks me so much about peoples desire to dive right in without a thought and trust anybody who has spoke 9 words to them...but learning the basics of coding is not likely going to help in this sense, plain common sense is more useful than an elementary degree of programming knowledge because most malicious code is made to seem complex even when it doesn't need to actual be complex.

Learning to program in a basic sense might help you know what could be done or what to consider, but your not going to have enough knowledge at that level to truly read it in reverse (which is much harder by the way, because its not yours)
