Sauron is Maiar - just like Gandalf or Saruman. If you translate that into everyday religion, that would be like angels.
Melkor (Morgoth) was Valar - that would be like a god.
Melkor fought against the full might of the Elves, Dwarves, Maiars... He commanded dragons, balrogs... All those beings are too powerful to obey Sauron - in fact, they see him as equal.
Sauron was beaten twice by ragtag armies of younger races - Morgoth by all kinds of immortal powers.

well, yeah, ppl (and only human ppl) greed of power, but when you talking about "BIG BAD" it must be a person, not some metaphorical or philosophyc aspects.

also...I think calling Morgoth the Big Bad of the entire saga when no one who haven't read Silmarilion even know the name was a far fetched move. what was his actions in Hobbit and LotR?

Why was he alone - basically he had received false info that his allies had been defeated, and became so enraged/despairing that he went for a "I'll take you on myself!" last-ditch attempt.

As for Morgoth - sure, he's not as well-known to LOTR readers, but basically he is a major mythological figure comparable to Christianity's Luficer: originally a major angel-like being, fell due to pride, and became a power-hungry dark lord. He was ultimately defeated and locked outside the world (like in a different dimension), and his return in a distant future is supposed to signal the End Times of the world. So Morgoth is locked away during The Hobbit/LOTR.

Sauron was one of his lieutenants - like a lesser angel, smaller in power than Morgoth but with a cunning plan (rings of power) to make sure he can't be defeated by military alone. Sauron was also tough to defeat the first time (Amazon's Rings of Power series will be about that), but because he was, he's not at full strength by the time LOTR happens - that's why the LOTR good guys are able to defeat him at all.

Even if it can't, you could scan the file with fndstr in DOS and print it to a new file using regex, probably better off with wordpad though for size limits.

I'm with you on this, which is why I don't know exactly how to do it off the top of my head, I've never used discord on PC so I don't know exactly how it loads the text...I just assume its from the server side.

Which is very difficult in itself. Once upon a time, I was lucky enough to read The Lord of the Rings before the movies were made. It was another venture, because the library had two different translations, one of which literally translated all the names, and it was the second book, but it was cool. There is nothing to tell about The Hobbit, because the book is small. But I couldn't do the Silmarillion. The text is very heavy so i just stopped at some point.
BTW, Steam had very big discounts for games in the winter sale, maybe in a few days you will have a chance.

That's what stops me from trying to read Silmarillion - I'm afraid that it will be to epic and too complex for me. I really like Hobbit and Lord of The Rings though, just re-read them last year (this time in English). I expected nothing much from a Hobbit, I thought it won't be as good as in childhood, but surprisingly it's as interesting to read now as back then.

Can't agree with that, those are pretty easy to read (well, it was a bit hard when I've read it in English last year, I must admit that). Maybe that's because I first read it pretty late, when I was in the University already... Those books were pretty hard to get when I was a child.
