Yeah, bought it the very first day and I must say I've got a feeling that mystery games bundles are sort of arranged as good-bad-good-bad-good... The games are not as good as the previous bundle I bought so I hope the next bundle will be good again.

The threads in the Deals section of SteamGifts are very useful for knowing the composition of these bundles before gambling on one. People there will often give full breakdowns of their purchases.

Zodiac: [Fanatical] Mystery Zodiac Bundle 🎰
Spring: [Fanatical] Spring Mystery Bundle 2023 🎰
Egg: [Fanatical] Mystery Egg Bundle 🎰

Clearly, the egg bundle isn't all it's *cracked* up to be!

I personally only bought a mystery bundle once. I don't regret it but wouldn't do it again since I have plenty of games and trade fodder now.

Seriously, if this guy is banned why can he still participate in giveaways?

Funny. In this case, even if he won something, he will not be able to get it on his profile.

Thank you. I avoided this game for so long, so they decided to give it away for free. Well, the Cylons really did have a plan.
(Love this franchise, both old and new).

Obviously, a bit of luck is also involved. So, today, I've got much better (in my opinion) games in that same bundle - but the reason why I consider it to be "better" than my previous purchase is my subjective view. The games I've got today are simply more to my taste.

EDIT:

It also replaced it system-wide, so it functioned in all applications...it was basically the concept of a key logger, except it swapped keys instead of recorded them.
Wise use of key logger like program :D

Once upon a time in a penny arcade...

Now, I know you sort of expect some light-hearted story with lots of humour but this one is different. It was the end of many things in my life -
the end of the war in my country, the end of my freshman year at university, the end of my teen years, the end of penny arcades...

Before, you could enter any bar or fast food joint and you'd see at least one arcade machine or pinball, not to mention penny arcades with dozens of games, but that was already thing of the past. I'm not surprised that the twilight of the arcades coincided with the appearance of PlayStation 1.

While there were several penny arcades in my town before, now there was just one and, as we found out, even that one will close in a month. My big gang of friends that remained in contact through thick and thin decided to organize a gathering that Summer. We didn't see each other for almost a year with some of us being students, others who moved away because of their jobs or even a couple with a newborn.

We laughed and drank that night in the arcade while remembering all our childhood adventures. It was our farewell not only to penny arcades but also a farewell to our teen years. We were the arcade generation and a half-empty arcade room, without children and almost no one else besides us, was a testament that the arcade generation will die with us.

Some of the games were half-broken - my favourite Phoenix had some electric malfunction so it wasn't even playable, while Final Fight had an unresponsive button for player 2. I could swear that even Pac-Man somehow slowed down - and it was a very special Pac-Man with an arcade part where you would eat dots but when you would enter one of the lower passages, you would activate a pinball - placed below the monitor. Now, that pinball machine was only maybe 1/6 of the length of the real pinballs but it couldn't be any bigger because you wouldn't be able to play the video-game part of the Pac-Man.

We spent almost the whole night there, with the owner being the uncle of one guy from our group and giving us the keys to lock it down. Cadash was the last game I played that night with my friend who was my regular partner for that game during our high school years. We weren't as good as before - maybe a whole year of not playing it or alcohol was to blame.

And that was it... The last arcade closed in a month or so and while there were Luna Parks that would come during festivals, I never again checked if they have arcades or not.
Nice sad story! Unfortunally arcade rooms disappeared completely with smartphone age.
By the way I would love to have the Icade, but it is out of production:

Cool, I never seen this Pac-man version.

Nails dlc is something new. I can imagine something like that in a dating sim, but it looks odd in an AAA action game

So...it was just a referal (like an event code or something) and not adding a friend there? Tbh, I'm not really familiar with HB, so...🤷‍♂️
I sign up to HB choice with his referral code and he gets some 💵 kickback.

What's a Payment fee means? I was interested in purchasing the key 'cause it was cheap enough (+discount) but with that additional fee it's not worth it. I've checked any info at the site but there's nothing about that particular payment fee, so wtf is this?o_O
grey.jpgfees.jpg

On allkeyshop, you can slide a button to show prices with fees.
Some (few) sites like yuplay and cdkeys have no hidden fees, I think.

In other news:
I've registered at Kinguin.Net
found a relatively cheap key for the game I want, but...

...that one I don't get it:unsure:

Thats from your choice of card or payment method, you may also get a foreign transaction fees etc...its not just kinguin either, if i use certain methods at Fanatical I get hit with the same thing...they also added a tax that was never there before 🤬

Side Note:

Certain debit/credit cards have no transaction fee (themselves)*, which will also affect your paypal transactions IIRC when directly linked and not using paypal balance.

A good solution to this if your going to shop there often is to add Kinguin balance and/or paypal balance (depending of foreign fees)...the fees are much less although I can't recall if you get charged for that as well.

I.E. for me to use a Visa card cost more than a Mastercard at some stores, others its reversed 🤯 its a confusing mess.

The simple version is that those fees cover your own state taxes, as well as a service fee for delivering the key from kinguin, they all have it...although it seems kinguin is one of the more painful ones for most people.

Eneba actually hurts me just as much...where people in other countries its not so bad.

Most UK/EU based sites have VAT (there version of tax) and its f'kin brutal.
May be the commissions for the type of payment method.
Thats part of it, definitely better off trying other payment options if you have them.
