And apparently all owners will also get Desktop Dungeons: Rewind for free when that launches (later today? I think I read that somewhere). Not sure if you would have needed to purchase the original game earlier, of if just snagging this freebie qualifies you. But either way, it's one free game, and possibly two, so can't argue with that!

Only 1.000? Amateurs!
A few days ago, I saw one game listed for a trade. So, naturally, I opened the Steam profile of the trader. He's had 13.000+ games in his library.
So, I thought: "OK, people with such a huge library at least have a small wishlist"
...
He has had 24.000+ games on his wishlist!

Those leaks, maintenance and other things.
Maybe AWA backed out and its streamer stopped playing it due to that too.

Yep, they already clarified that. At first they themselves did not know what would happen, so there was no concrete information. Now the original post has been updated and everything is written accurately "you claimed Desktop Dungeons for free, you will not get Desktop Dungeon: Rewind for free, Valve got back to us."

As it should be. I like free stuff as much as the next person, but that would have been a really harsh outcome for them.
