Because the game is extremely old. It's still very cool, but being a first person game it's not even a shooter in the usual sense of the word. Moving a character by modern (hell, and 1998 too) standards is a total nightmare. It's as hard as trying to play games on an scientific calculator. So, apparently, the people who just need it in the library have run out, because it has been in bundles a million times (Miracles do happen and I won it once on SG but from a kind user who is well known here. Dzięki jeszcze raz!)

I played back in time it was amazing game, very ahead for the time. I still have the cd-rom came with a game magazine. I know controls are weird for today's standard, sometimes I have to remap old games with wasd, because I prefer this way instead of using directional keyboard keys. Playing old fps in general with directional keys and no mouse look it is hell
I got the game last year on steam but haven't played it yet again nowdays. I'm pretty sure the new remake will be great for our days, but I love old graphic too and enhanced version looks for me a good compromise in restyling between old and new.

Your trailer reminded me of the vr fishing trailer (minus the vodka lol) I know quite a few ppl who play this and love it.
