Just use VPN.

Any more bright thoughts?
It's not that easy, because AWA blocks well-known free VPNs, so you have to pay. And when you have to pay to get something free, it's hard to call it free :)
I couldn't have said it better!👆

Problem with this, they removed the 2.- site used to find trade IDs, totally useless now.

That would be bad, then the spammers would be giving negatives to everyone to reset them

I agree, but an automated system isn't the solution. Well, not in that sense where user interaction is involved at least...remember, bots can do that too. And with Ai pretty much free for all right now they could probably fake write support if they needed too.

What they need is a fucking actually mod who USES the site, me, you, fucking anyone thats actually involved...hell, make a gala senate :ROFLMAO:
Cheaters must lose profit, i suppose that ignoring system on high levels can solve problem. They can get to high levels - but they ll be banned by all donators and IG so they wont get much profit...

Scammer: Dr.Hikkan | Indiegala
I won 2 games and all duped:
Now this motherfcker blocked me at his Steam acc: Steam Community :: Reißwolf
Other guy say he scamm him too
Yeah, I also just won a giveaway from this guy. The key was both a dupe and not even for the game that was indicated in the giveaway. So yeah, just a straight up scammer. Until IG just outright bans these guys, just give negative feedback as much as you can. They're definitely relying on winning their own giveaways so that they can keep fraudulently leveling up. And for what? They're already at Level 8 and there are basically never any giveaways at or above that level. And even when there are, the games being given away are certainly not worth all that effort.

Best way to do that is to WIN their high level giveaways...this ones an exception using all dupes.

But as I stated (and you quoted), you CAN'T get the trade ID anymore the way we used to do it, they have to have a public profile and a live giveaway or you have to have participated in one.

If I'm joining a GA I know is a scam, its to take the key from them...not some random dupe lol.

We would need to compile a list ourselves, get all the users in on it together...etc etc.

Seems much easier if a mod came over and just clicked a fucking button

I've looked into the forum part of the site, one click ban. Literally, button right on the dash...never used.

As for the GAs and them making alts here even thats different, but its better to kill a name than have everyone write a 30,000 user blacklist EACH.

Bottom line, just flat ignore them and don't bother leveling up, I've been saying this from the day I stepped in here, WHAT IS THE POINT if we don't put any games up ourselves....forget the whole stupid system and just donate to the people here or at the least the people you know.

Do you think your getting a fucking medal for being lv 9 iSilver king of the dead space? I don't think so :ROFLMAO:

Simple solution, recommend against any users we know making GAs in the gala page at all...we get IGs attention because the number dwindles and we don't even need to THINK about these idiots 🤷‍♂️

I don't see whats so complicated, especially since silver is totally free lmao.

They can't really steal FREE SILVER from us, so all they really CAN accomplish is winning our games by using mass accounts.

Maybe the winning formula is higher by levels and we just don't know...and they do?

Site dead now:(, was working in the beginning.
LOL, like 14 hours later and their site is still down. It's not a good look when a giveaway for Inertial Drift causes you to have to shut down your website for over half a day and counting.

I find it hard to believe that big computer companies like Lenovo, Alienware/Dell, etc. have such crappy websites and backend infrastructure. If my decision to buy a computer relied solely on the community-facing side of these companies, I would not buy from anyone. It's a tough sell to make people believe you're some cutting-edge tech company when you can't even manage a simple website and manage doing unfair, bare-minimum simple giveaways.

To be fair, it seems like AWA and Lenovo are at least trying to do more to combat bots and multi-accounters, but it's a problem of their own making, and a solution that is way more work than is necessary. If they just did their giveaways as something like a raffle, it would be more fair and also alleviate pretty much all the stress their websites get. They'd still have to deal with bots and multi-accounters, but it would certainly be better than the current system. Of course, they don't care about all that, they just want to do the bare-minimum so that they can say, "Hey, we're a hip, cool company that gives our community* free games!"

*By community we mean bots, and only those community members who happen to be both awake and online at whatever random time we decide to drop a laughably small amount of keys and then pat ourselves on the back.

You knows what REALLY fucking sad? Both Dell (Alienware now) and Lenovo make consumer PCs and Lenovo works with IBM in massive corporate data and consumer machines

Reminds me of when I was twelve and I had to remove a virus for my uncle with a guess and a simple script after IBMs support staff had been at it for over 2 weeks, fucking unreal :ROFLMAO:

IBM can make'em, they just can't use'em for spit.

Dell can't do either

Hence the trauma of legolas life:

Yeah, I pay for a somewhat pricy VPN service, and while it works great for most things, AWA is not one of them. I get blocked just like you whenever I have it on. I think they know about pretty much all of the most commonly used VPNs, paid and free. Your only luck would be to either use a pretty small/new one that they don't know about yet, or pay for a personal proxy IP address so that they can't use the level of traffic to tell that it's a VPN (and I know that's not a realistic option).

Either that translated wrong or I'm a bit confused what you mean.

I said SEVERE violators, like the vinka situation, or obvious scammers without a doubt at all like this one supposedly, although I personally haven't checked.

I'm not talking our petty shit that goes down talking...like ChI K Sorcery Ann or anything.

Maybe the Serpent (and his alter egos), but he also ended up commenting as a mod--so it was justified really, I just seen it coming.

THEY actually did step in and kill his account for that.

Or shadow someone else device, but thats not a good or realistic option in your case either.

You could probably make one with enough skill to pull off a device fake anyways
