It was a mixture of multiple word Ophidian, Chia (as in chia pet), google won't have that particularly definition.

Maybe I should have added another one to the list...its like a party in here.
I see, thx for explaining that to me. Sometimes it's good to hear people criticize you to know what you need to improve, I'll try to avoid same habits on other sites since if you find it annoying, probably most people out there finds the same too but not saying.

So again. Thx for letting me know and said those to me.

As Nitrus and others said, stories are not related apart from some recurring (mysterious) characters and their "home", but they're enhanced in comparison to previous sequels. For example, Persona 3 introduced relationships, but Persona 4 created romance options; P3 had one dungeon; P4 has several different dungeons... In fact, if my memory serves me right, in P4 you'll visit with your friends the school from the P3 story. And that's also the reason for SMT and Persona's popularity. If you play RPGs, you know that 90% have fantasy/medieval settings, 9,9% are science fiction and 0,1% are contemporary settings.

And when Persona 4 became such a huge hit that surpassed the Shin Megami Tensei franchise in popularity, they dropped SMT in all future Persona games titles. Now, in P4 is really hard to get the true ending without a walkthrough on your first playthrough - so, you'll either have 2 or 3 playthroughs (which I would recommend) or you should use a guide,

You'll probably notice Persona 3 has slightly worse reviews than P4 or P5 but that's mostly because of old Persona fans - Persona 4 had 2 versions - PS2 and an upgraded PS Vita version (that's the one remade for PC), but Persona 3 has several versions - PS2and updated PS2, visually the best, PSP... The thing is, while the PSP version is story-wise the most complete, instead of movie cutscenes, you have static visual-novel-style screens for cutscenes. So, the game is just as good as other Persona games, but we would all prefer if Sega and Atlus invested more time and energy and gave us a combo of the best thing from those old versions.

P5 didn't play yet, but I know I won't play Strikers because that game basically ignores your relationships from the main game and I don't like such things.

Apart from SMT Persona games, I'd definitely recommend you SMT Nocturne - there is a reason why that is the only SMT game (apart from Persona's series) remade for PC.

For the end of this long post, something for P4 fans:
What is the relation between Shin Megami Tensei and the Persona games? Do the events in Shin Megami Tensei impact the Persona games? I'd like to play these games so that the references are meaningful to me. It sounds like Persona 3 is the one to start with. Which version of Persona 3 do you prefer?

Your misunderstanding this part, Shin-Megami is the original game series, which has multiple spin offs...persona being one of them. The only relation those really have to each other is the names of spells and summons/personas:monsters etc.

Persona became more popular and is not the 'star' of the show so to speak.

You really don't need to start with any particular persona either, but if you did, P3 is the earliest option on steam, P2 would have been my suggestion if your wanted to emulate it.

All games in that series and spin offs are considered shin-mega games. incluing persona

Only two i KNOW have a story-ish relation are Digital Devil Saga and devil summoner, since they summon from the digital world

Wow...well thats unexpected.

Someone appreciate my bad habit? :ROFLMAO:

Well, your certainly welcome...I guess.
It's not bad, sometimes you need someone to tell you badly so you'll learn your own mistakes...

I think that's probably why people didn't like those things I posted like meaningless or not useful or nobody cared about, probably I interacting with people is completely wrong at all... Now I see why I do those posts/threads if it's annoying people at all but no one is telling that to me.
Thx to you to let me know and realize that I'm doing wrong things. At least I'll try to be less annoying to people.

I'm sorry @WhatNitrous, @-v-, @Legolas, @RETRO, @DanteFromHell, @Kid Kidding, @Ryzhehvost and many others for all the things I've done and discussed improperly to you people.

Not gonna happen...P4 has held at $10 minimal since release...on EVERY console as well as steam. its their golden goose aside from P5.

You may see P3 drop, Nocture will for sure as well as P5 Strikers as the P5 Royal hype dies out, but not P5 Royal itself most likely.
You could be right. I think these games will drop under $10 in the second half of this decade. It will take awhile because of their popularity. I'll be surprised if Sega treats them like how Square Enix treats games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, but they'll keep the price up if demand stays high enough.

You're missing Doom 1993 and Doom (2016)
Me I'm missing Doom Eternal, but I have no rush in having it.
doom.jpg
Thanks!! Added those three, especially got interested in Digital Exorcist (looks neat, title sounds like Digital Devil Monogatari, pretty sure you know the thing).
No unfortunally I don't know it. I searched the OVA looks great, I love that art style and missed the game too, probally it was not localized back in time.
Where's the original? You know, Doom (1993) or as it's also known the Ultimate Doom?
Yes now Ultimate Doom activates as Doom 1993
DBZ was my first real love for Anime, along with the classic DB, nothing will ever be better than it...its also the show I watched with my sisters that started pretty much their entire love in life 🥰
Me too! Dragon Ball was my first manga I read completely DB, DBZ, a bit of DB GT then I stopped losing interesting in the evolving of the story.
😂😂😂

Thanks for the rest.

Your probably one of few who can read this

Thank you Nitrus! added OctoQuest love the Nes style, and Nello in Antwerp I like the recreation of 19th century Belgium.(y)
Flatout complete Pack isn't? Rabbit gave it to me 🤔
Flatout complete pack include this:
Flatout 1
Flatout 2
Flatout 3
Flatout Ultimate Carnage
I'm adding from mobile, if theres a way I don't know how.
Mobile app is pain behind lol. I don't think there is a way to do from there. I create lists from the client.

No, you can start with any series of games of the SMT franchise and you won't miss much. Persona is one of the spin-offs and the most popular for a good reason.

About the P3 version... I think the best version is Persona 3 FES because of the additional gameplay content and explanation of the main story. Apart from the main questline (known as The Journey), you have a continuation of the story with "The Answer" questline. Why they didn't pick that version for Steam, I don't know.

If you have a chance, I'd recommend P4 as the first Persona to play because that's the game that created everything people now love about the Persona series.

Thanks! I'll have to grab Persona 3 FES off the internet somewhere. I have a big backlog so I'll get to these games eventually. Hopefully, Persona 4 Golden is cheaper by then.

For once, nothing to even add, that was nicely put (irish accent)

They really need to coordinate on that 😅
Yeah, definitely!😅
But it's Bethesda we're talking about so you should just buy another copy of Skyrim.

So just as TL;DR. Since most of the things I post are already contributed by people there on daily basis, I'll stop posting them there since it's annoying.

I guess I annoy too many people on too many places.

Hey, don't be like that. All's cool. You're not annoying me at least))

About Doom title changes everything was explained in this post
We will be changing the name of Ultimate DOOM in the Steam Store to DOOM (1993). No other major changes are being made at this time.
Oh, that's more like it now:unsure::ROFLMAO:
Even though they've stated complitely otherwise at Bethesda support page :ROFLMAO:😅
