Well Homer, you just made my definition look stupid :ROFLMAO:

I was more explaining it wasn't a sales tactic and why, but I figured if you knew what prologue meant clear as day it would have been obvious if you played a few....but I guess I took your meaning wrong.

i played the gba versions on smartphone emulator, finished near all of the classics

Thank you for posting, this bundle is more expensive in every country to buy on steam, even on sale.

Edit, when researching, find that these game are kind-of asset flip. not terrible but not good. better than average? still very short and not much to replay. i think developer take advantage of steam price increases, it is definitely overpriced, bundle is more fair

I was going to send this message below as a PM, but I figured it would be better here with pictures:
I remember seeing the Strider Arcade Cabinet when I would go play Street Fighter 2, I'm not sure if I ever played it or not, but it always caught my eye and I wanted to play it, but I was hooked on Street Fighter 2, I also liked The Simpsons, I tried a Pacman Cabinet a few times, it was Ms. Pacman, but I didn't want anyone else to see me playing it because it was too girly and they didn't have the regular Pacman and it was my only way to play Pacman at the time 😆 I also pumped a lot of quarters into Pinball Machines and stuff like Daytona USA and in later years Aerosmith Revolution X (2 Player) I think it was the 3-Gun version, not the 2-Gun version. I really liked those types of Arcade Cabinets and Pinball Machines because you couldn't get that experience from a console, the guns on Aerosmith Revolution X vibrated really strong (like kickback) and you had a Yellow Button on the side that would shoot CDs (Music CDs/Discs) Right Hand for shooting bullets, Left Hand wrapped around the bottom of the Barrel of the gun (Left Thumb to press Yellow button/shoot Music CDs) the game had music by Aerosmith, a cheesy plot (something about Eco-Terrorists) and of course you couldn't really replicate Daytona USA on console, it had a stick shift and I think the seats moved and the wheel definitely had Force Feedback on it (it also felt realistic, like you were turning the steering wheel in a real car).

If I could buy only 2 Arcade Cabinets, it would be Aerosmith Revolution X (3-Gun Version) and Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior maybe I would choose Champion Edition, but I definitely wouldn't choose Turbo, Super, or Super Turbo Editions, the Original Version is what I remember playing at the Arcade. I also owned the Original Version on SNES, the other Versions I tried as Weekend Rentals but never owned them.

Here's some photos of Arcade Cabinets that you just can't replicate the look and feel of using a Game Console, anything like this (including Pinball) I felt was special, it made it worth going to the Arcade.

And this would have been my response in PM, two of the best reasons to go to an arcade, still, if you can find them.

My mission in life before I kick the bucket seat (lol) is to build a racing setup for PC with a real Corvette seat and all the stuff exactly where it would be in the actual car (shifter, pedals, etc) and play iRacing in VR to win some serious bank :ROFLMAO:

I can't drive sims with a gamepad but I imagine it would be entirely different with that setup, and I'm a speed demon in the city normally--think i'd do extremely good with an actual vehicle feeling when I played.

Ii won't even bother with a gamepad because its just not what I want to play.

Guns...well, i've already mentioned 100 times I need a modern zapper :LOL:

Nothing else to that story.

Great game Strider, I haven't played yet the reboot version, but I played the original one, I own the sega mega drive cartidge. The european smd version cover art has the character that is very different from the ingame don't like at all :LOL: the japanese version is better imho:

Nowdays there is Arcade1up that makes arcade cabinet replicas in 3/4 of real size, if you are interested in gun games there is Terminator 2 they sell it on amazon too:


Daytona Usa was probally my fav car game but there are few more racing games I liked:

Nintendo did great with Wii controller it was a kind of modern zapper, they made the wii zapper that was bundled with Link's crossbow trainer:

They made nice gun games for Nintendo wii like:

I wouldn't say it's impressive - it's expected. Atari ST and Amiga 500 were powerhouses in gaming - PC couldn't compete until the 486 series and not even 16-bit consoles.
When talking about arcade cabinets, I remember the great one where you pilot a helicopter. The cabinet was more horizontal than vertical with the futuristic seat and steering wheel and joystick in front of you, while the monitor was placed away, at your legs (because you're completely seated).
