Well, it's one of the biggest AAA trilogies of all time. While I could criticize many things about it (because I'm very harsh when it comes to my favourite genre), that's definitely a franchise that should be played at least once in a lifetime.

So, buy it, save the galaxy and bang some alien chicks or dudes!

Mass Effect is both great and greatly dissapointing. If you like story, go for it or at the very least try the 5-finger version.
Don't know if the new "Legendary" Edition is better than the old games with textures/fixes mods.

Watch Dogs 1 & 2 were free on Epic some time ago.
In Watch 1 you're a cringe Punisher in Chicago. Story isn't great, gameplay and missions is meh and gets same-y quickly (except for some missions).
Best part of WD1 is driving through Chicago with this jamming on the radio:

In WD2 you're a cringe hipster on some sort of hipster cringe hacking club. If you can tolerate the cringe (some of it is intended) the story is a bit better but fails to deliver, and gameplay is alot more dynamic and reactive. You're a hipster hacker, so you have access to a drone and an RC car that allows you to approach missions somewhat differently. You can also hack vehicles, so you can bring with you and use certain lifting vehicles into missions to access roofs and basically cheat. The best part is San Francisco itself: people are weird and have routines and react a bit to you. I think it's the only game you can call the police to arrest mimes. It's probably intended that you use the police to help you out in fighting or distracting the baddies; but screw that, no mimes in my 'merica.

I know your pain bro. I missed Stardew Valley for €6, the Wadjet HB Bundle, another bundle that sold out when I was finally going to purchase it, I missed out on Dread Delusion and will probably miss out on Lost Ruins from the new HB Bundle. Currently, I've been stuck for a week on Ni No Kuni White Witch.
One of these days, I'll stop procrastinating and work on these issues. Not today, though.

If you like stories and good companions and okay-ish cover-based shooting with space magic, go for Mass Effect. At least in ME3, you can do a build that rewards agressive play styles (instead of using cover to recover your shields, use space magic to meteor yourself across the battlefield and head-butt some alien lifeform to instantly recharge your shields). If you like these things, ME is a must-play game and you will have to eventually play it. I know this doesn't help, but might help sway you someday in the future.

You can also check the first few episodes of this to, hopefully, get an idea

(Playthrough Spoiler: Reggie tries to bang every life-form and doesn't do a good job, so in ME3 he unexpectedly traps himself into a gay loveless relationship)

Regarding Watch Dogs, it's a Ubi openworld game. If you played one, you've played them all.

I eventually settled onto the guy that worked personally with Borges but his books were out-of-print due to [allegedly] Borge's window greed.
