So...just went to give V Rising a try...needed to create my own server to play Single Player? Wtf is that?

At the least I found a working controller config thanks to somebody's extreme fucking effort into it.

I would have posted some better shots...but I could (literally) smell my PC burning while I was trying to design me a sexy vampire, so I had to force exit and throw my fans on max and then decided to finish my downloading first.

I tried V Rising a few days ago - my first game session was auto-clicking through options to start single-player. I played for some time, feeling the game mechanics and then I deleted that game and started the new one with all settings checked and fine-tuned to my preferences and it is surprisingly good.

Tbh., that's what I do with every game: start the game, play for a while to get the feel and learn the ropes and then I'd delete that game and start the new one.

We don't have that luxury with freebies obviously, and keyshops are about the same deal...you use your best judgement and hope you'll like what your asking for or buying.

Free is free, nobody should complain in any case...I actually feel bad if I get something that cost money and I just can't stand to play it...sitting in my library in anticipation is fine since I can't even hit my AAA games, but being uninstalled is kinda shitty.

Usually shop prices are so much better than Steam its like a dice roll, your bound to win 1 out of 6 heh.

To be clear I never gave V Rising a chance yet...the burning dust smell coming from my GPU from the fans being half power and the graphics...well not just made me bail early, it didn't heat up till I was already halfway done with my VampieWhore and it was almost at melting temps.

It does have a safety feature so it won't commit suicide, but ten minutes of my time I gotta do over isn't worth chancing a $2,000 GPU when your more broke than most pan handlers--fuckers make bank from begging round here, legit...and I do not from being unable to work.

Ironically my bad back would prevent me from standing all day and even doing that fucking con-job

i can fight, I can move, hackey sack, bowl, I've even done weightlifting except I had to drop doing squats with a real bar...but standing for hours I can't do, thats pretty fucked up thinking about it lmao.

Sorry, went off in my personal life again, bottom line i plan on Rising at least once more when I'm in the mood...but when I finished everything I got fucking EA working again and realized my NFS skill had went to hell since Origin was removed, so i ended up kicking ass and taking names on a few levels I didn't gold yet in that.

I'm wicked pissed I missed the Unbound sale recently, I wanted to buy and try it, even if I had to return it...its $17 on Epic with a coupon but I've never mixed Epic Steam AND EA hoping my generic gamepad will move so I'm extremely iffy...Idk if Epic needs to launch unbound or if it will launch right from EA like Assassins Creed did for me so I can use Steam.

Anyone ever try an EA game through Epic? Is the Epic launcher required?

There are some people who're having problems with twitch quests in the forums, it also doesnt help some streamers still haven't set up the Arena Rewards Tracker on their streams. Some people also said it's very slow in earning the Twitch ARP too, as in it takes even more time to earn the ARP. Hopefully they'll fix it soon and you don't get such issues.

For some reason - although the AWA widget is there and it says it's earning ARPs, nothing happens. But I simply unpause the video and then pause it again and it starts working... I don't know. I think it's black magic. . ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
