Seems like you got a decent rig by the other ones...and no offense russia but you ALSO got "Mystery Machine" which I never even thought possible.

So the Great and Legendary scores "with your hardware" were pretty much automatic trophies, all you had to do was run a test :LOL:

By the way, in case your interested (willing to risk a hack for trophies) there is a user who made a guide on there that will "supposedly" remote you into their machine and fake the trophy of running 3 GPUs (and probably the new 12 CPU cores trophy as well)...in reality they can all be scammed if you wanna risk your neck or steam account over it.

I'm not saying you did that, just an FYI since I know your a prize hunter, but the Mystery Machine I figured would take black market or a flashed fake BIOS to accomplish :LOL:

I'm interested, do you know WHAT piece of hardware you got that trophy by using? I really thought it was impossible to get without buying the hardware before it hit stores.

But considering the GPU concern people have been talking about lately and my comment above...heres a flat out Port Royal test ran right now after I simply removed the tempered glass blocking the GPU fans from my chassis.

You have awesome videocard. I am Radeon fun. If I were upgrading today, I would only buy such a videocard. Now I have Sapphire RX Vega 64 Nitro+ 8Gb HBM2 OC Limited edition - the most powerfull and rare Vega64 version in the world. They were released in a limited number. She's still pretty good at games. More powerful than 1080 ti

@whatnitrus Steam Community :: CTPAX001RUS :: Review for 3DMark
I've loved 3dmark since its first versions many years ago. In my steam profile, 3dmark stands on the podium "Favorite game". I even wrote a review on it. Below is an automatic translation:

How to become a Boy Scout with 3DMark without leaving home?

To begin with, we create a fighter TURBINE from our silent system unit and cool it to minus temperature, use the following instructions:

we set the turns of the case and processor coolers to the maximum in the BIOS of the motherboard (I have 5 pcs.);
we do the same with the videocard coolers (3 pcs.);
we raise the voltage for percent, memory and video + full power consumption;
we open the window in the room with the PC wide open (winter is needed);
for an additional cooling we turn on the split system at the lowest temperature (yes, yes in winter split for cold!);
we turn off the computer and leave the room, wait half an hour for the glacier to come there, put on warm clothes, a fur coat, mittens, boots, come back, quickly turn on the computer, turn on 3DMark and run the DirectX 12 stress test, and then the benchmark.

We are frantically waiting for a few minutes, teeth chattering from the cold, to finally get the achievements of No Sweat Keep the GPU temperature under 65 °C for the duration of a DirectX 12 stress test, which 0.8% of users in the world have and Cool under pressure Keep the GPU temperature below 55 °C during a DirectX 12 benchmark run at 1.8%.

Joy and happiness are guaranteed!

Thats what got you the hardware trophy? Interesting....and sweet.

I still got a 1070 SC2 8GB in the package on my shelf, needs a cleaning but its still a decent damn gaming card aside from missing the perks of the 2000 series like ray tracing.

I skipped that joke of a GPU upgrade.

I'm with you on the the way to upgrade though, the reason I haven't replaced my processor is I would NEED to buy a new motherboard, as well as DDR5 RAM (max my board can handler per dimm) and I insist on staying with Intel so its three times as expensive...and I will only buy the absolute best, no middle class i5 shit when I do it.

My general upgrade cost as of right now is close to $2,000 for everything I'd need to put in it to be satisfied, the processor and EVGA Kingpin Dark Mobo i want alone are well over a grand.

Impressive...no fire or dead components? :LOL:

I probably had my AC on in the summer when I got it and the glass off again hahaha.

I need to stick my 1070 back in to get the 5 fps time spy trophy (or use a laptop :ROFLMAO:)

My computer is assembled from the most expensive and high-quality components at the time of their purchase. I always buy only new and high end. But it is already obsolete. This is a fact. But another fact is that it works PERFECTLY for my needs now. As soon as I realize that it is not enough for me, I will go and buy the best that is on the market.

Thats the way to go bro (y)

Pretty much my story as well, my mobo and processor are obsolete and even my GPU is a series behind now, which in real world scenarios doesn't even fucking matter...but when it comes to 3DMark it makes a HUGE difference.

Its insanity (and wealth) to upgrade every generation, I'm figuring my GPU will hold me for damn near another 7-10 yrs

I have one golden rule - buy expensive and it will last for a much longer period. This applies to everything - phones, gadgets, cars, clothes and computer accessories. Once you spend money and you won't think about a new purchase for a long time. As a rule, an expensive product means that it is of high quality and has slightly better characteristics than possible. And it always gives a head start for the future.

I never worry about the fact that some of my things are outdated. The main thing for me is that this thing is qualitatively assembled from the best materials with the best characteristics at the time of release. Then she will please you for a very long time

You get what you pay for...my father drilled that into me long ago, but its not 'always' how it works with PCs...especially with things like your GPU, being rare doesn't make it quality, it makes it limited...we know this from delisted games that cost a fortune--it doesn't make them better, it makes them impossible to get :ROFLMAO:

But in a general sense, I completely agree...buy the best and it will last the longest and stay up to date as well...that was why I bought the 3090 24GB and I'm glad I did since EVGA never made a 4090, no other company will ever compare.

Extremely glad I warrantied it for 10 yrs now too hahaha.

I waited a year for my Monitor to be in stock (not from a scalper), close to the same time I waited in the queue at EVGA, I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, because they were the BEST there was...I passed on multiple other options over the time.

EDIT:

I could throw an AMD in my rig for near nothing, my monitor is also AMD Freesync as well as G-Sync...but I just...won't.

AMD is a hassle.

If you're interested here are two more of my rules: never buy used and do not take on credit. Came to the store, bought a new one, left. I don't owe anyone anything. You live within your means. I don't blame people who take things on credit or mortgage in any way. This is the right of anyone and it is certainly more convenient for someone. But I am a very patient person. I can wait until the required amount accumulates.

I have a friend who knows a lot about all the graphics cards, processors, even fans, etc... when to get them for a good price, when to wait for new generations, so i gave him a budget, and we collected every part patiently waiting for the best occasions and the best quality, and waiting for AMD (because my friend believes a lot in them) to have their new generations out. Before that, i had a computer from 2016, with a very VERY annoying way of doing some shit all the time, and no clue where it came from, it was NVidia based. And so, by following the same rule as Pax, buying the best quality to last longer, i did this, and so for the interesting parts, it's an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor, with a PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24 GB Video Card, along with other stuff of good quality.

Didn't need them, already live by the same rules.

They come with the first rule, unavoidable...the best isn't used trash.

I'm poor so sometimes I use payment plans, but I never pay interest...I refuse.

My GPU would have been my first time ever, because of waiting in the queue and having 8 hours to make the purchase or lose my place...I used Affim for it and then got a Stimulus check--paid it all off before I paid a penny.

The laptop I just got my ex is the first purchase I have ever done it with...but it was all planned out to be paid up before the bill ever hit me and the situation was kind of unique and not for myself.

PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24 GB Video Card
Uhh, not to burst your bubble...but PowerColor is not the greatest brand, cheapest...but not the greatest.

Still, that card fucked mine up...I can't say if thats from the PCI express being 3.0 on my rig in reality or because thats a 4090 or my processors holding it back (this is a fact, as well as the board lol)...but just for future reference--that company is completely 3rd rate.

The only reason I even know the name is because of building a rig (like someone did for you) for a friend and making him pay an extra $100 to get a well known GPU at the same specs.

I'm not downing your system, you just crushed mine :LOL:

but if I was that friend I wouldn't have done it.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
16 Thread I assume? I'm running 8 at 4.2 Ghz on an older Mobo and you got about double, so that would make sense.

🤩🤩🤩
In some tests and games, this videocard overtakes 4090
Right along with NVIDIA's original thermal issue lighting cards on fire 😅

EDIT:

About 3/4 through...ouch. Thats fucking scary. (not the GPU either)

As I said earlier, some 4090's melted right off the bat...all things have issues at some point., I thought you would def want to watch this though, just to be safe.
