Yeah I know, but steam says I played 86mins of brawlhalla and I know I didnt lol. Even hovering over the quest link at awa shows app id 570 so wtf is going on here?

Thats the idle app, id is correct

but there IS shit like this as well...all app ids says 570-575 (workshop, etc)

This is a depot, I don't think it has anything to do with AppIDs

Thats the depot ID, you had it right dude.

EDIT:

Late on that one...I was just saying it had a ton of IDs in a million places, I might suggest trying 551-575 for a minute or two if your really screwed...just to check if the idle app is working.

You have the right game ID but digging to find any other answer is a total nightmare.

EDIT:

I'd honestly suggest switching idler's before trying to find a different ID

Did you add Dota 2 into your library ? , I assuming you did of course, cuz this is really not making sense. Steamdb clearly says Dota 2 App Id is 570, so you're not wrong and maybe it's a mix up on steam's part and maybe you did play Dota 2 but that's still a maybe.

If it's still not working, try installing Steam Achievement Manager (SAM) and then finish the Quest and then you can delete SAM. Btw, Dota 2 is by default in SAM library if it's in your Steam library, no extra steps need to be taken.

Honestly, I've perused the source for Arch and aside from the Desktop Authenticator...let me be clear that is not safe, I see nothing wrong with the farming apps code as far as I could tell, its on the level.

The authenticator, however, is an entirely different story (just stfu ahead of time thumper, nobody cares what you think of me)...I don' even recall exactly where I came across the exact security flaw...but there is at least one MAJOR one in that app, at the least it could access your account, at the most it could let someone else while sending the information.

I did alot of reading about steam sign-in and source code on valve and elsewhere when I was digging into that and I wouldn't touch that with someone else's spare account personally

Ohhhh hell naw. Last time I used that app it wiped my save for a game, and the ONLY game Ive ever completed. Not going there again.
What I cant figure out is I started idling Dota2 then got a discord dm to come play fall guys so I stopped the idle. (I cant run steam and FG at the same time, my pc doesnt like it.) Steam says I played 1min of Dota2.

Same app id (570) was whitelisted ready to play again and 4 hours later I ran it. BUT this time steam says I played brawlhalla. I didnt change the app number and its the only game whitelisted to play so its not running thru a list of games. Yes I "own" it, its in my library. AWA says I dont (where you get that "check games" button and the button that links to the steam site). I'm scratching my head here, I dunno what happened. Im idling war thunder right now (actually that should be done by now).
