I think I still have it from the last free weekend and never launched it, I really wonder if it'll load up now :ROFLMAO:
Even if it ends you can use the demo from Steam and it's like 4 hours as stated on their game page, plus it's like 18 hours for the main story according to howlongtobeat

And by the way, I wish it was more traffic when driving around ( maybe it's my settings, but shouldn't it probably won't affect that much )

I think Ubi has a 2-4hr demo as well, that may be whats still sitting on my drive honestly.

Me 180hrs later

Wait, thought it was driving game (pilot maybe? considering?)...how do you beat it?

It 'may' be your graphic settings affecting that...generally its one of the most noticeable differences between console and PC, more NPCs and background objects. It makes a game running on 1080p look better than 4K most of the time in comparison...pure detail.

Well, I think you complete the map/races in order to beat it and also it has a feature called stories, but yet didn't try much since I played for just like 1 hour.

I was just..umm...joking.

I mean every game has a technical end, in all reality after beating something like Assassins Creed you could still walk around the map as a god and assassinate enemies or civilians...and in another light if you consider the Arcade version of something like Street Fighter II, it probably has a time to beat of around 30 minutes give or take, but people have played 2 player battles for decades, still do I'm sure.

I'm a single player person myself...much as it depresses Dante  so I understand wanting to know how long it will take to beat a game, I generally look at those stats and consider it a speedrun compared to how long i would probably play anything I really enjoy...again, for all my Ubisoft bashing, I could compare the older AC games where I've tripled the time to beat because I'm a stealth lover in the sense the original gameplay was designed, even when its unnecessary, I don't like the old Altair hiding in crowds ALL the time type of Stealth, but I do enjoy actually being an Assassin, not a fucking Warrior

An old adage from a book I used to love about the age of assassins and knights..."if you need to walk on eggshells among friends, you will find the enemy is within yourself." ;)

I just loaded Cook Serve Delicious 3 and right when it shows the screen about not shutting down during a save I Alt-F4'd the game :ROFLMAO: idk why but that just made me geek out loud.

I'm downloading that Funtasia game to see if its any good since I finally got some sleep...I'll drop my thoughts on it in a bit.

Anyone got a safe link for a Darkness Revenge savegame for the replay gallery?

I can't seem to find one and them bitches look hot, but I'm not feeling a VN right now, on top of the fact it looks lesbian...I'm all for some lesbian sex scenes but I can't see myself enjoying this type of game through the eyes of a female in general 😂

You can use them in conversations with your Steam frien... Oh wait.
Do you actually use these? Really?

I know where to use them...but even picking one of my icons in a review is an annoyance due to the clients or sites...I can't even imagine running an ever changing box of stickers to post a shitty sticker in a Steam PM.

Maybe once for the steam achievement that like the rest have prevented me from ever reaching the next tier

EDIT:

Believe it or not, its not outright paranoia that prevents me from adding Steam friends...there is literally no point for me except to share my wishlist (which is so short its on gala lol) and to accept or give away a total of maybe five steam gifts in my life total.

I barely play games alone these days, and I don't really enjoy MP games at all, maybe Fighting Games aside (can't knock you on that one Dante), which I might play for a few rounds with ppl and get bored anyways.

I'm not an achievement seeker so I don't care about the friend based ones...all the reasons ppl do it i don't care for...so why deal with another site I need to check in on socially?

So my thoughts on Funtasia...

Ok, so don't expect a story...unless you care about world pollution. Lets be real, we don't
IMG_20230706_1913060~3.jpg

And they wanna give SRV a BJ, not relevant to the gameplay...carrying on

.
First thoughts...fucking hippies :ROFLMAO:
IMG_20230706_1941144~4.jpg
Second thought, oh wow, my gamepad actually works
I warned you...

Sadly, after playing two levels, a three star, and a single star since they seem to have no concept of an actual storyline even under story mode (there literally is none), no scenes, no set path to follow, just a level select screen that defies any logical sense...I can say this game was extremely different from what I expected from the store page.

You slog along basically keeping your car from doing a 360 with the left and right direction buttons before you hit the ground after going over jumps or the occasional background geyser that spins your vehicle slightly in the air...until your car runs out of "battery" and blows up the same way it would if you landed upside down--making you restart the level OVER and OVER again upgrading your vehicle, since you can't even make it over all the bumps and hills until you do, no matter how well your driving.

Its not a matter of skill, its a grind.

On top of that they set accelerate to A and brakes to X if I recall correctly, defying all rules of car based games entirely...and yet they actually got my generic gamepad to work which some AAA games and most launchers fail to do.

Final thoughts...major disappointment.

Fucking hippies :ROFLMAO:

I feel the need to also give a mini review for XEL since I actually decided from now on (time permitted) I'm going to at least try to launch every game I install or ends up on my update list to see if I want to keep them...

The warning screen for this game is pretty funny, which gave me high hopes for the story. It says "Trigger Warning" , and goes through a list of suicidal tendencies and talking to family as well as the usual epilepsy warnings for flickering (read further here lol), but I'm like cool...took a serious concept and gave it a comical and serious light right away...dev seems to be laid back.

I didn't take any SS for this one, but the game starts with you talking to a flying robot and THEN realizing you have amnesia...the fucking bleeping robot didn't set off any alarms in your head--but you can't remember your name?...ok, we can roll with that odd concept for the moment, although I think R2D2 would have gave you a god damned heart attack right off the bat.

So you realize you have amnesia and this fucking dot in the sky is telling you about where your at and whats going on (no trust issues here), except it neglects to tell you that shit is going to start shooting at you until your literally in its face...I walked up to what I thought was an item pod and got shot in the face :ROFLMAO:

This game starts SLOOOOW, the introduction is about like miles per control concept...as if we don't know how to using the damn analog stick already, seriously. You auto jump while going over gaps which they again neglect to tell you and can be quite suicidal at times, but for what I have to guess is an indie title, its better than not jumping at all and it has its place in the environment.

The first thing I sadly caught was graphical glitches off screen in the area above the inner level in a corner, flickering before I could do anything else but dodge (before the bullet in the face)...that doesn't bode well for graphic optimization running at 4K, which I found to be true when my 3090 started changing colors early in the game at 50% fans, it didn't cook but it got warmer than it should have for the amount and quality of the objects on screen at the time, instant concern for when I'm surrounded by enemies or in a really crazy looking level.

I'm strolling along and the game reminded me of Zelda for some reason...which became iconic when I took damage and realized it knocked off a piece of my three ❤️ life bar when I got shot...in truth it reminded me more of Grandia's art style but i couldn't stop thinking about Zelda.

Sorry, A D H Distraction...so FINALLY after moving boxes, opening an item container for a key card and pressing switches to progress (oh joy) far enough to pull the sword from the stone (trash heap) like king fucking arthur (this had a funny comment "one mans trash is this gals way to kick some ass" lol), I came across my first enemy ofc which took quite a beating for a generic bot, now I'm scared about the difficulty balance and the graphics 😂

I honestly assume this game probably becomes pretty good if you can survive the deadly swarm of bottom barrel enemies in a puzzle aspect and possibly has some good boss fights...if you can make it that far without killing yourself, I didn't.

Good luck and god speed, because the game isn't going too. Did I mention you can't dash? It would have made this long intro alot less horrible...but honestly the devs did a decent job and I can't say you shouldn't try this game if you have the patience for it,

I may pick it up again for round 2 another day...just not today.

More games I tried today...

Worst button config for an RPG maker game I've ever seen, at least you don't die when you should be drowning in the water after falling in the first pit, it actually seemed to be a secret area for later. Terrible is you don't play with a keyboard, even then it didn't use WASD, it used IKJL instead, so don't expect it.

End of ADHD review

Ubisoft legit did a worse job than Funtasia with my gamepad, I could press the gamepad buttons in the controller config and it would recognize them--as no button press...leaving a - instead and considering the control blank.

Almost 70GB Uninstalled, mental note to try on Steam because it looked decent if the controls didn't suck balls.

EDIT:

Did I mention it shut off my profile and turned on Ease of Access somehow? Ouch, still trying to turn it off now

End of ADHD review

This game has more going for it in the title screen than anywhere else, the hardest part of this game is when your Payday Clown masked buffoon teleport's on top of the middle of the whack-a-mole holes blocking your view...which i honestly think was done by design since the animals ALWAYS seem to pop up in the hole you can't see at the moment.

The aim, even with only mouse based controls is a nightmare, although you have enough time on normal to slam your mallet a few times, I likely would have missed dead on shots in a faster difficulty.

It was entertaining, for 4 or 5 rounds...and then it was gone

A good concept with a great attention grabber for a title with terrible gameplay, I have to assume they stole the clown asset from somewhere and modified it because it looks incredible, and thats about all it had going for it aside from whack-a-mole being addicting in real life.

There was obviously no attempt at fine tuning the gameplay here at all, they just dumped a failed concept of a project on the market as is...it does show that you can sell just about anything these days.

End of ADHD Review.

My discovery queue...

"The Matchless Kungfu is an open world sandbox RPG game based on a WuXia background. You can play any martial arts role you imagine in this wild world. Travel through the great wilderness, or be the leader of the group. The most important thing is, build your own story and live the experience!"

In other words, the game has zero point at all or we don't know what it is yet. Huh? How is this for sale or wishlist already?
