Oh I know what you mean, it's been long time since I don't change Win theme with custom characters, I think last time I did it was with Windows Vista lol. I tried many themes on Xp too and many of them were so ugly Right now I am pretty ok with default theme and its fonts.

I wanted to wait for buhroobee to keep things fair, but I don't want to make everyone else wait either...and I know they literally won't ask for a game they have no intention of playing immediately so I'm going to make a minor exception to move things along.

Its not the most fair situation I'm aware, but I may not be around much the next few days so its what I'm going to do regardless.

They were also the last choice and can't affect others choices so really its just me giving away a game to speed this along.

Half my reason is its not the best news as far as choices that were picked...so let me just say I'm extremely sorry I don't have more keys for Hand of Doom because I'd like to activate it myself (kidding)

I was also extremely surprised by this. Don't hesitate for a second, keep the game for yourself. It's now updated, so it works great on modern hardware and operating systems, there's a whole bunch of additions and bonuses, it's a really nice addition to your steam library.

If you've played the RTX version obviously..I actually just realized I don't believe I've ever heard you mention what you even game on.

Don't get me wrong, I just tend to forget some people prefer laptops because of my time in PC builder crowds.

Yes, there was a moment when the update and price change were already announced at quakecon, but Indigala did not have time to change it in the store, so I did not lose the opportunity.
I don't know what to say about Quake RTX, i know about a Q2 with RTX support, but I haven't heard about a separate first one... I have an old video card so not to worry about it . Q1 definitely has improved dynamic lighting in the settings, maybe there are other improvements there.
