This game is terrible no matter which way you approach it. It looks awful (in both overworld and battle modes), it's very slow, it's very boring. I don't know how someone can even survive the first disc and not die of boredom and shitty random encounters (there are three CDs, who doesn't know). I honestly tried, but as soon as I was offered to remove the first disk, I did not read further about inserting the second - I removed it and forgot. I highly, highly doubt that at least a third of all the people who scream at every corner about the greatness of this game have even played a third of it.

Final Fantasy I (NES)
Final Fantasy II (NES)
Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls (GBA)
Final Fantasy III (PSP)
Final Fantasy III (DS)
Final Fantasy IV Advance (GBA)
Final Fantasy IV (DS)
Final Fantasy IV: Interlude (PSP)
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (PSP)
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII (PS2)
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP)
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (DS)
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (DS)
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (DS)
Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (DS)
Final Fantasy Type-0 (PSP)
Dissidia Final Fantasy (PSP)
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy (PSP)
Crystal Defenders (PSP)

do they count? :)
Kingdom Hearts (PS2)
Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS2)
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA)
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (DS)
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (DS)
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep (PSP)
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix (PSP, why not?)
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (3DS)
As you can see, for me, the 4th part is the peak of the evolution of the main series, I played it in several versions (and sometimes several times), but I either did not try any numbered part after that, or abandoned it. I regret the most about 9 (UPD: OK-OK-OK and Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition), I liked everything, but the random encounters of PS1 era were the most ridiculous part of the Square's history.
Final Fantasy 7 had all the flaws you speak of, no arguments...it was the Story, of which you claim to like the spin-offs that made the game entirely, are you considering FF7R a spinoff? I would

Having said that, I sadly never played Crisis Core, i still own the original PSP game (back problems around then), so it may take away from FF7 if you played that first...I hear the stories are contradicting at best but I haven't had the chance to play through since I sold my PSP and now I want the PC version (c'mon price drops lol)

Lets see if I can actually create a list myself...this is going to be hard as hell even with my memory.

Final Fantasy (NES)
Final Fantasy II (NES Emu) - Never Finished
FF III- Never Finished
Final Fantasy Legends 1 & 2 (GB)
FF Mystic Quest (SNES) - does this count? lol
FF II (IV) (SNES)
FF IV Enhanced (NDS Rom)
FF IV + The After Years (PSP)
FF III (VI) (SNES)
FF VI (GBA)
FF VI (PS3 Classic)
FF VI (PC Original port)
FF 1-6 again (GBA/NDS Cartridge) - for simplicity
ALL NDS ROM Classics, (Hacked DS)
FF7 (PS)
FF7 (PS3 Classic)
FF7 (Emu)
FF7 (PC)
FF VIII (PS)
FF VIII (PS3 Classic)
FF IX (PS)
FF IX (PS3 Classic)
FF X (PS2)
FF X-2 (PS2 - maybe a hacked disc?)
FF X/X-2 Remaster (PS3)
FF X (PSVita)
FF X-2 (PSVita)
FF XI (PS2) - Never finished
FF XII (PS2) - Never Finished
FF XII (PC)
FF XIII (PS3) - Platinum Grind
FF XIII-2 (PS3) Ditto ☝️
FF XIII: Lightning Returns (PS3) - Hat trick
FF XIV - Skipped entirely
FF XV (PC)
FF XVI (waiting lol)
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP) - Never finished
Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (DS)
Four Heroes of Light (DS)
Final Fantasy Type-0 (PC)

I gave up trying to list every console, I'd be back and forth on the wiki and my shit for hours lol.

If they do count...I've played the same KH except your last game KH 3D Dream Drop

I'm done...played way too many way too many times lmao.
I started several FFs since the Super Nintendo days - never finished any. That whole franchise is boring to me. My favourite RPGs on SNES were Chrono Trigger, Earthbound and Breath of Fire 1 and 2. I'm probably the only human being who thinks FF is overrated.
I think its partially because in NA, FF was the biggest title by default, with almost no competition...the only one at first to actual have sequels.

I also love BOF and Chrono Triffer just as much...but I could only find one or two games in those days.

Final Fantasy II (IV) and Final Fantasy III (VI) were my all time favorites, VI being my favorite one ever, alongside Chrono Trigger although that came later.

I hate Saga Frontier with a passion...game never made any sense to me, but I liked the GB FF Legends so 🤷‍♂️ lol.

I also didn't like Chrono Cross much, I will however give it a second go when the PC port goes on sale nicely...not saga frontier, ever.

Secret Of Mana was another of my classics, too much grind though...and honestly my favorite games now are usually Dragon Quest after finding the series again, I went back and played hacked PS2 versions

I totally and completely respect the opinion of anyone who has played this game and thinks it's brilliant. But only when played and finished.

No-no, I tried to play this back in the late PS1 days. When it was actual. Even the idea of Dragon Quest to make an "outdated" visual part with sprite characters I really liked. (Well, they were simply ahead of their time, because the same 4-5-6 remakes became hits, and the Final Fantasy branch is now a parasite on this style). And yes, I love each and every Dragon Quest game.
are you considering FF7R a spinoff?
No, I consider it an attempt to make a normal game on the second try. I think they will succeed, only the idiotic policy of exclusivity and greed can drown the idea of a halfway.
Final Fantasy II (IV) and Final Fantasy III (VI) were my all time favorites
Due to confusion with the numbering we may think about different games. If it's about the mechs, I haven't played them.

More dragonball is coming, but dlc
Nice, considering out of all these Kakarot was the only one I played for more than 10 minutes

Doesn't get much more finished than Knights Of The Round, Both Ultimate Weapons down and all Master Materia heh.
And yes, I love each and every Dragon Quest game.
I love all the ones I've played as well, except Heroes and the Tower defense 🤮 same with Star Ocean, and I believe I've played all of them now, I went on a mission for PS2 roms for my hacked PS2 and PSP/NDS

Since you don't like the Original, this makes perfect sense, its not horrible, but it has so much content left out and so many changes to the battle system it feels like an entirely different game to me with a familiar story., which again, makes the game...so its worth playing even for me.
Due to confusion with the numbering we may think about different games. If it's about the mechs, I haven't played them.
In the US, FF VI was called Final Fantasy III (Terra, Half esper, kefka, wedge and biggs and yes mechs)

FF IV was called Final Fantasy 2 (the one later enhanced as a 3D Port for NDS with Kain,, Ceceil, Rosa, Ridia, etc)

I played FF7 back in the time it was out on psx and I really love it (I completed the game) but the thing I really hated was there are too many random encounters (battle music and sfx still stucked in my head 🤣), but overall I loved it. Probably for nowdays standards the game is too much slow to play until the end. I don't think today I will have the patience to complete it again with all those random encounters🤣 but who never knows one day I will have the itch to play it. FF8 was great too, but I didnt complete it, it has great graphic and pushed the psx to the limit. I loved the triple triad card game inside FF8. I would happy to play this one again nowdays.

I heard that in the Android version there was an option to turn it off completely. But due to Square's Google Play pricing policy and Google Play's own policy regarding games purchased from them when they might disappear from the library, I never checked 😞

There are only these real Wedge and Biggs!
I never knew about this...thats iconic (y)
Got it, I like this one.
So do I, you really should play FF VI (actual VI these days) if you haven't, its STILL one of the best RPGs of all time IMO...I would buy a remake of that game even after playing it on every single console its existed to the very end, I'm just done paying for copies of the same exact game (most with the relm sketch glitch removed (n)) since I bought it and still own it on almost every system I still have to this day.

If you liked the Class changing games and that one I mentioned, I can't possible see you not liking part VI. Instead of changing classes you change Espers, which let you learn Magic as well as Increase a single stat on the character they are equipped on when they level up (this is where it actually gets class-like), but at the same time each character has their own special skill like Steal (which can be changed by equipment to attack when stealing, steal 4 times, etc) and certain armor/weapons they can equip. On the original version you could make certain characters unable to be hit by any attack in the game by raising Magic Evade to the max since Physical evade had a glitch and it was a sort of dual evade stat. Being a god everything misses is fun, but of course kind of breaks the game, same with the sketch glitch I mentioned.

Regardless, its truly one of a kind and my personal favorite even on the modern versions...I've never played the pixel remaster (its the only one), but the other FF VI on steam looked fucking warped from being a port, even compared to the game it was ported from

Pixel Remaster has one up on that at least graphically. If they even made an enhanced 3D version I would buy it on spot...but its one of those things left on the table of dreams, regardless of all the screaming fans 🤷‍♂️

Works on switch too ;)

EDIT:

Evidently thats only for the Windows store version 🤮

Steam has mods but I'm not going to hunt those down since I won't bother testing them.

Oh nice, but I would be ok just reducing random encounters, I still want some battles🤣I wonder if they made a mod for it.

Well, one letter (to a P.O. box) was left, the home address nobody was there to sign...but theres a ton of shit going on in the units random as fuck...including gutting the unit right next to me.

I'm guessing one got where it was going and either they're covering up a mess or they're gutting it to offer it to me and still no word to my face yet 🤷‍♂️

Either way, figure I'm not hearing anything this minute so might as well go on living

Three damn trucks in the lots and the unit was empty long before now leaves me guessing at their game...but it sounds like they are snaking something from under my floors from over that side so I'm all sketched out 😅

Guess time will tell...

Don't be sorry, it's perfectly okay within you situation.
Just don't kill/physicaly hurt anybody, that's all:ROFLMAO:

Well, you actually CAN'T (if you're a sane person) tell something about the story of MK w/o saying/showing something about arcade craze/Street Fighter II craze, 'cause it's relevant to the case.

pfff, welcome to the club, buddy.
I've made something like that (albeit it were tens, not hundreds of screen captures) multiple times, for free.🚬

Thanks for the GA!!

which ones were those you haven't completed?
For example I've completed only two of those - GBA remakes of FF1 and FF2 (well, I've also completed port of that FF2 remake for java mobile phone beforehand), but I've played FF7 (PC-port), FF3 (NES original and NDS 3D-remake), FF5 (SNES) and FF6 (PS1 version).

Nah, I'm more like the "that country just NEED some kind of coup against it's government" so...well, you got it^^

Now THAT one I can't argue 'cause it's an asumption based on some facts.

YAY!!
Thanks for the reminder))
