Thanks for this, I forgot to have twitch running in the background while I was doing other things.

In other news, I finally reached Tier 2 (y)
Congrats for new Tier!🎉 each time I reached a new tier, I realized it after a while lol
It's definitely harder to fix a laptop. Hell, even with a video I'd still struggle with fixing stuff :ROFLMAO: I guess it's either have someone fix it for you or just go with the external monitor route if you really need the laptop :(
yeah with laptop you have a lot of patience to change things and it is better if you have small hands to be more precise.
I haven't been to a technic because I'm pretty sure they will ask a lot of money and it isn't worth to spend more on old laptop, I already spend some money to upgrade it this year. If I knew I had this problem I didn't upgrade it so I could buy directly a new pc. :(

Yeah sometimes life just doesn't give us a good time. It's hard to know what problems are gonna pop up. :( Hopefully the laptop had a good run though, and hopefully you can earn enough to buy a budget pc at least.

I think I actually reached it the other day, just noticed it now. Was too into the grind for me to appreciate my hard work :ROFLMAO:

I don't know how to boot it without build in ram, it is soldered inside I can't remove it.
Thought you said YOU COULDN'T boot it on built in RAM.
I tried to go the bios but still have colors issues.
I saw yt tutorial someone suggested to remove internal Cmos battery fo like 15 sec and then reseat it, in order to clear the Cmos. Haven't tried it yet but I don't wanna to open it again  It is like 19 fkin screws to remove each time, plus remove hd so boring.
Don't bother with the battery, its unfortunately not going to be that easy. BUT, your laptop may have a battery reset pinhole on the OUTSIDE of the laptop near where the battery is seated...if you do (it would say reset, clear, something of the sort prolly in italiano :ROFLMAO:) you can just stick a thumb tack or sewing needle into that hole for about 30 seconds.
I think it does not matter if the cable is not original, it's just connectors with wires, what could go wrong?
For once I need to actually quote this monkey.

What could go wrong?

Well, having the wrong fucking voltage go to the screen might be a really bad start, a terrible video signal, a fried LCD...so much can go wrong I can't believe you even just said that.

Please don't offer to help people with expensive tech problems unless your actually going to put in the effort to research.

You can hang around and give terrible software advice all day long but try not to fry any computers because you want to sound intelligent but don't want to waste effort on anything except more bots and stolen accounts.

Thanks.

Remember, if you buy another laptop those parts may not go to waste too...they were good parts.
The random games are Bogatyr, Dungeons & Cockso and Midnight Ohota.
Actually look half decent, doubt it...but they 'look" it

I'd be hoping for Midnight Ohota personally.

EDIT:
You got a typo in cocks btw :ROFLMAO:

On amazon there is the advantage I can have 30 days for return it if I don't like. The only thing it stops me in this moment to try is that I never changed it , inside the laptop there is few space to "move" and wires are like taped, I'm not a technic, I'm more into software things, but with hardware and electrics things if I don't have a video tutorial I won't go for it.
I pretty sure you can do it, since you already successfully disassembled it and tried to take cable out and back it. Sure, it requires patience, and you need to remember (or photo) every step to reverse it with new cable, but there is no special knowledge needed. I'm also not a technic, I'm a programmer, but I did a lot of stuff with my laptop, so you can do it too. Of course if you don't feel like doing all this - I can understand it too. Last time when I needed to change thermal interfaces in my laptop it took me almost a year to make up my mind and do it, because it's really time and attention consuming task.

Why does everyone keeps saying technic

Its tech...techie is a hobbyist, tech is technician.

That sounds like shakespear before we had computers at all heh....technic is short for technique.

I'm not too proud of the leftover business cards, they were done in a rush over the internet with another artist

I fix everything except cell phones (hence my glued on screen) :ROFLMAO: and I've never been called a technic even by a layman.

I had to cover up the old contact info...and if it wasn't illegal, I would have offered free copies of AC/DC with every repair 😂

Gotta thank the boss for grabbing it for me, I assumed the activation was random so there was no way I was getting a key unless it was 1/3 chance lottery :ROFLMAO:

Thanks alot my friend ;)

Sorry, I forgot to snap the activation on this one...if it was anybody else I'd post the license list but I know your not concerned about it and I'm lazy right now heh.

I searched for the cable, it seems there is no reason to order from china, it costs the same as on amazon, ebay, etc. Also, it's kinda more expensive than I hoped :(. I think it does not matter if the cable is not original, it's just connectors with wires, what could go wrong?
And yes, buying an external monitor is also the solution of course, if you can afford it and don't care much about portability of laptop.
Acer always uses the cheapest of cheap monitors for their laptops. I have to replace mine now. Luckily I still have some warranty left.

Both I've seen go were Dell, I don't think it really matters

I can say my ancient HP thats been treated like dirt and thrown around like old socks (after being traded from some teenager who treated it even worse) is still intact...and the Lenovo I just got my ex seems solid as a tank, but time will tell there.

Most I see are trash and you can tell the minute you lift the lid.

And this is why I don't play MP games :ROFLMAO:

Another stupid one...

And in my opinion, a good one...even though the post disagrees in that aspect.
