I thought it was just a commercial, so I leaned back to rest my head on the office chair, closed my eyes and took a mini-nap until it was over (just to get the ARP). I had no idea you could win the actual game (Ghostunner 2). :ROFLMAO:

I just discovered there is a Maniac Mansion 3d remake called Meteor Mess and it is even free on itch:eek:
game has voice over too and from the trailer it seems arcade machines are playable too, a dream come true:ROFLMAO:
When I played on Nes version I was so disappointed arcade machines were not playable and a friend of mine told me he played it once, it was a lie

You may like to try the maniac mansion episodes (free) someday found on this site, quite a lot of them actually. These are the english translated ones but there are others in other languages and that are yet to be translated. You can run winsetup and switch them to english. Maniac Mansion Mania - International

You can get the Maniac Mansion official version with enhanced graphics (1989 dos port) (and also has the original graphics) from steam including buying on indiegala on sale at 1.19 for a few more days, but there seems to be a lot of region restrictions so probably why we dont see that often in giveaways. There is another unofficial port called Maniac Mansion Deluxe that is easy to find for those who cant get the official one due to the region restrictions. This is the fan-made VGA makeover that was released in 2004. It also removes some dead-ends that plagued the original game and adds a lot of observational dialog. (As the original game had a “Read” verb instead of “Look at”, there was unfortunately barely any incidental dialog.). So probably good to try that someday even if you do have the official one. The 256-color treatment is good and tastefully done, but again the 1989 enhanced version on steam/gog and purchasable at indiegala I see is the last version of Maniac Mansion officially produced so far and the one official one to buy if interested.
