One of the best RPG games ever made.

My father bet me a new Nintendo game that I couldn't score a million points to keep me busy forever. I ended up getting Peter Pan a week after he said that

Offer for collectors
Comrades, I have several steam keys to the FUEL game and would like to exchange them for some very good games. One for several of yours considering how rare and expensive the Steam key from this game is . If you have any suggestions, we can discuss them in a private conversation.

Yes. I had put All the ones that dont say Epic Games Store are amazon app games so looks like no games for trades/giveways this month. at the bottom, just didnt feel like typing 'amazon app' on every one of the non epic games.
The thing is... you typed this.

The game isn't for Epic Games at all.

Yes, the source just had that game listed wrong as from epic rather than amazon app. I just fixed my original post and added [amazon games app] to that and the other non epic games. All games are still not able to be tradeable or given away this month since they will be directly deposited to epic or in amazon app this month rather than given as codes.

Tempted to buy but what about EA Play? Is there enuf replayability in both games to warrant buying them outright?
I despise Heat personally, its open world, car control got worse (no longer CodeMasters), and generally I find it more of a map hunt than a real racing game...but I don't like open world racing games at all so I'm probably biased.

The control is definitely worse, but the gameplay I can't really give a fair opinion on.

Hot Pursuit, if you just want to pick a track, a car and drive is definitely worth it...you have something like 70+ missions (or tracks) for both the racing side and the cop side, basically time trials where vehicle damage has time penalties, races or police chases, both of those sometimes giving you and the opponents weapons to take each other out.

Almost every course has side paths (visible on the map) that can be shorter or longer routes as a racer or let a racer escape if you don't keep up as a cop...so you need to actually get familiar with the tracks.

You get more cars as you finish missions in three or four different 'classes' and usually only one class can be used on a particular mission, sometimes you need to use a particular car...usually one you wouldn't be able to unlock yet.

As a cop you basically run racers off the road by smashing them at high speed or use police traps...dropping spikes (I usually turbo dead in front a few inches and drop those lol), EMP blasts, roadblocks (which you can hit too), or call in a helicopter to fly ahead of them and drop spikes for you...which in my experience tends to backfire and take you out more often than them unless you dodge your own copter like a racer

As a racer you race and usually get chased as well, so you can use the other racers as police cannon fodder fucking them both up or just take out whoever you need to, cops will attack the Ai as well though. As a racer you get the spikes, EMP, a super turbo boost, and a jammer which can prevent the other weapons and police from calling in support.

It took me a really long time to finish all of the tracks with the gold medal (first place or minimal time), but you can open new missions by getting bronze (third place or required time), you can progress without ever really being stuck on a single mission since usually any mission opens new missions if you need a better car or just have an issue with the track...one of the best features in that game IMO--nobody wants to spend 2 hours trying a single race over and over again for a week lol.

Like I said in the last post...its one of a kind and by far my favorite racing game, its the literal reason I have this username and why I was hunting racing games for so long that everyone decided I was a racing game maniac.

It was actually the first one I ever truly enjoyed and I was really just looking for any game that was remotely like it...I ended up finding other good racing games, but none have ever become my go to game on a daily basis like that one did...and I doubt any racing game ever will unless CodeMasters decided to make another one just like it.

Nuff said...too much actually

Wall of text, sorry.

Game is legendary.

I was wondering why I never seen this game in my country, I searched and it was released only in JAP and USA. That's why!
They made a part 2 only released in Japan as well, I never knew it existed until I went hunting for emulator games, took forever to find an english rom even after that lol.

They do exist if you can deal with the ancient graphics.
had Slalom with black cover I regret having returned it back to the shop because I got bored fast:ROFLMAO: Now it could have a good value.
I lost all that in a storage unit my parents never paid for when life got rough for us as a kid...the only real kick in the balls was they let it happen when I had baseball cards in it that could have easily paid for it for more than a year and it would have at least saved the rest of our shit

I've never seen that Slalom...and I owned or rented nearly every game for NES that existed here...I wonder if it was never released in the US now heh.

You have a different color Mario in that pic too, even the first Mario released here was wearing red...interesting.

EDIT:

Wrong Mario game, even though you clarified it wasn't super mario lol.

Destiny of an empire for NES (Nintendo 8-bit system) for those wondering: Destiny of an Emperor - Wikipedia

Tenchi o Kurau II - Shokatsu Koumei Den (Japan) is the sequel to that for the japanese famicom (nes). You can get the english patch for the japanese rom here and then patch the japanese version to english. Tenchi o Kurau II: Shokatsu Koumei Den I still have a lot of those kind of games in my backlog to play eventually as they were in japanese only at the time. Its really cool to find many now in english mainly from fan work, as well as obscure old japanese computer games that were later translated.

A few companies know this and now release some previously good japanese only games in english with improvements. Theres a free demo as well.

If anyone can get it running, I want to be the first to know.
Doesn't run properly on Win10/11?
I've it on ps3 I bought it for few bucks at Gamestop. Fun game with huge map.
They made a part 2 only released in Japan as well, I never knew it existed until I went hunting for emulator games, took forever to find an english rom even after that lol.

Ancient graphic isn't a problem for me :p

:( I'm very sorry for this.

Those games with black cover are quite rare. When I found Slalom I bought it the price was lower then other games, so I took the risk
Yes it's weird Mario has blue wearings, it is more realistic, classic plumbers usually wear blue shirt and blue cap
In the Famicom cover art Mario brothers looks a bit different:LOL:
