I was looking on Steam I found this variation of Tetris called Qu-tros, if you search it by name it says it is free but when you open the store page cost 4,99 eur, so I tried with adding with the command steam://install/965940 in the browser and it adds in the library for free. I don't know if is good or notI just added to the library.
Nice find, it has interesting game mechanics (multiple pieces that you move at the same time).
I added it with this (ASF):

Someone mentioned a Tetris clone in the steam reviews (available on itch.io), you can't add it to your account, but you can "Add To Collection" in the upper right of the webpage, and it's free:

I'll try to keep this short, a Russian-American named Alexey Pajitnov (born in Moscow) made Tetris.
The game has Russian artwork in-between the levels, I remember 2 versions existing, I had to watch a video to figure out why.
Short version: Atari basically stole the idea/game and released it before the official Nintendo release, Nintendo sued (and won) and Atari had to destroy many copies of their version that they hadn't sold yet. Atari used the name Tengen on their cartridges (basically pirate/homebrew cartridges).
Russian cathedrals are in the original Tetris, the new game I got tries to copy that, but you're right... they remind me of Prince of Persia.

The Story of Tetris (2 min. mark it says he was born in Moscow, I got to 6 the min. mark then closed it)

Maybe you already know it, this is free Tetris online you can play multiplayer too. You can set private room and invite friends, no installation required.
