My addiction started with two video games: VtM Redemption and VtM Bloodlines and then I started playing a tabletop version with friends. There are several things why I like it:
- while I like to play goody-two-shoes, it's always a challenge to do that as a vampire
- its contemporary settings (although there are Middle Ages and other options)
- rich lore that integrated religious stories into the explanation of vampires' origins
- while there is a lot of action, VtM deals with conspiracies, politics, manipulations and powerplay among different vampire factions and portrays vampires as the shadow rulers of the world - think regular politics but 100x more brutal and unforgiving with final deaths
- differences between clans, differences in the blood power based on the vampire generation, differences between 3 main factions (Camarilla, Anarchs, Sabbat) and many other more shadowy factions inside the factions...
- Tremere clan, mostly despised but also feared, as blood sorcerers
- Apocalypse that's coming closer and closer...
And a million other things.

OK, taking off my nerd glasses now...🤓

I have enough retarded politics in my life for now lmao...I am interested in trying it (I'll pass on the tabletop though)

I got my paperwork rejected at the court the other day for not adding a single word to it...which could have easily been written onto it or added with an extra piece of paper on top but they refused to do that.

I'm dying in some rotting dump and they wanna be picky about a fucking phrase.
