I had tried Rpg Maker VX to test how to build an rpg game, I've just started, if anyone has the patience and time it is fun to create games.
A couple of screen of rpg I created...it's just the start of the game to test.

It's not a bad engine (? tool? program?) tbh. I've seen great games made with it along with the random trash.. It does have potential if one doesn't simply copy-paste assets

There are some nice rpg games made with rpg maker. It's good because it's not needed to learn code, but making a game even the simpliest requires some effort, you could take a try since it's free and see it with your eyes
